Best Legend Didn't buy any
Best Basic (TARGET Scout/Real Gear) Both the Target Jets and Strongarm were cracking. But Longview wins it for me.
Best Deluxe I suspect the answer aught to be Dropkick. But I've not got him yest so it'll have to be Longarm.
Best Voyager Didn't like any of the movie ones. Can I get away with Classics Jetfire ?
Best Leader Nightwatch Optimus
Best Other TF
Best Reissue
Best Toy Whichever of Longarm or Dropkick wins Dlx
Worst Toy Movie Bumblebee 74. Appaling toy.

Best Legend - haven't opened them. Gobot Prime in Movie colours looks good I imagine. Best Basic (TARGET Scout/Real Gear) - Still not opened my real player stuff either. So gotta plump for Botcon Huffer. Best Deluxe  Botcon Thundercracker. Can't think of anything else thats really grabbed me this year. Best Voyager - Best Leader Best Other TF - Does Beatmix Bumblebee count, otherwise ML Soundwave is pretty neat. Best Reissue - Soundwave/Soundblaster Best Toy - I really do like Classic Thundercracker. Is it egotistical to most like my own AM TC though? Worst Toy - Did any Armada toys get reused this year? (Of all the toys I've bought this year, there's none that I've picked up to play with more than this one. A great robot mode and it's a Mustang!)
Worst Toy - Movie Legends Optimus Prime
(At the start I was tempted to vote Movie Megatron, but the more I play with him, the more I'm actually really starting to like him. The Legends Prime just has a horrible little transformation and robot mode.)

Barricade.
Best Basic (TARGET Scout/Real Gear)
Spy Shot. Very clever wee design.
Best Deluxe
'08 Bumblebee is the cleverest design, probably, but it's also helluva fiddly to transform. Most of the 'non-show' guys are excellent, with Longarm, Wreckage and Arcee standing out I reckon.
Best Voyager
Hmm. Ratchet. Starscream is good, but Ratchet is a bit less fiddly.
Best Leader
Optimus Prime, by a mile. Brawl is good, but he doesn't compare.
Best Other TF
1:4 scale Fortress Maximus (knockoff)
Best Reissue
Takara Encore Optimus Prime
Best Toy
Classics Action Master Thundercracker
Worst Toy
For the money- Leader class Megatron. In terms of sheer horror- Legends Starscream.

Is this outa all the TFs I bought over the year? Not just movie toys? If the above is the case then...
Best Legend - not bought any.
Best Basic- Booster, use him as MP Laserbeak! Not perfect, but it works!
Best Delux - Odd one, but Energon Grey Cyclonus. I use him as Spinister. Works really well IMHO.
Best Voyager - Classics Optimus Prime is one of the best Primes ever, if not THE best, after MP ofcourse.
Best Leader - Gotta be Beast Wars Optimus Primal! I love this fig!
Best other TF - MASTERPIECE G1 STARSCREAM!!!!
Best Reissue - G1 Soundwave. Waited a long time for this baby.
Best toy - Overall? Prob go for Binaltech Prowl, 'cos I'm a Prowl fan 'n' all, and I think the styling on the BT version is better than on the Alternator version. 6" Titanium War Within Megatron is a close second.
Worst Toy - Overall, hmm. Not sure. Had a darn good TF year actually. Prob the TF toy I was most disapointed with, the one I wished they'd have improved on, would be Cybertron Runamuck. Coulda been much better.

No, it's TFs that were availible to buy new this year Ah, well in that case... Best Delux - Classics Seekers, even though they shoulda been sub-voyager in size. Best Overall - Gotta be, you guest it, MP G1 STARSCREAM! Wost Overall - FAB Ironhide. Love FAB Starscream, excelant cheaper alternative to the full voyager sized toy that my budget wouldn't stretch to, and Ratchet was good as well. But Ironhide wasn't half as well designed as the other two I have. Disapointing. |

Worst Toy - I owned Movie Leader Megatron for a time (using the buy one get one half price offer in TRU) but got rid since he was so dire.
Honourable Mention - Not released for a good 21 years, but I did get a complete, mint, stickers-unapplied Trypticon for my birthday last year and he is awesome. Noisy though.

I've just bought Dropkick on eBay. Had no idea it existed until I opened this thread but it's got a really nice deco. Was looking at his Autobot counterpart Salvage as well but the figure looks that dull I almost slipped into a coma.
