4 days of work to go, tired already! Roll on a fortnights worth of holiday, which I am using to move house. Probably time to prune the collection I think, I should really start focusing on particular lines instead of just having a little bit of everything.

Training day down near the Scottish Parliament tomorrow. The downside of this is that I have to leave the house forty-five minutes earlier than normal to get there in time. The upside to that is that I intend to get myself a cumberland sausage half-baguette and a cup of coffee at the station in Edinburgh and have myself a hearty breakfast on the walk down from the station to the venue.
Normally the day before these events I am running about like a madman trying to compensate for having a day less in the working week. Today all seemed very calm and I felt like I was ahead of the curve for once. I am starting to worry that I am missing something...

Take it easy bud.
Knackered my back moving furniture on my own. Not doing too well either. We will bounce back!

That is my training day done and dusted - the leaving the house at 07:20 this morning was not pleasant at all, and by the time we were finished at half-four I was a little bit zonked. I can see me being in my bed a little earlier than usual this evening.
Doctor Who's birthday will have to be celebrated first though.

Jonathan has just looked up from his DS and said "I'm feeding the ducks". Long term readers of this forum will know why hearing this phrase has worried me.

Back is getting better. Lots of work still to be done to restore normality to the household in some form or another. Blaise loves the new carpet as shown on her facebook video.

A few months ago we had a big unknown white pet rabbit hopping around the front lawns on our street. I had assumed a fox or car would get it eventually, but this week it has returned with a brown friend. A week on, and the brown rabbit is still out there, unclaimed and defying all attempts to catch it. I don't know where the white one has gone. Someone told me there were actually three rabbits at one stage, but one had been killed by a car.
They seem happy enough grazing on lawns, but I hope any survivors decide to take warmer accommodation before the winter proper arrives.

Blaise is poorly ===KEN How's she doin'? Hello Fans of the Sportings variety!!! I've been paining! Paining rooms! Lovely, it will look. I'm in trouble though, for buying too many oversized Marvel hardcovers! I'm collecting them! They're displayed on the bookcases-that-define-me-as-a-person! I think I'm going for a chronological sequence of sorts from pre Disassembled, through to Siege, and then BEYOND!!! Avengers and Fantastic Four focused. Avengers Assemble vol 5 arrived last week, contains the whole Kang Dynasty arch. Bloody marvelous! The issue 'There are no words' blow my pants off. I'm cross that there is no omnibus of Straczynski's run on F4, though. I have the TPB and it's a bloody good stuff. Birthday comming up (AAAARRRGH!!! NOOOO!!! SO OLD!!!), so hope to bag a few more for my collection! Eh, poor ol' Mrs Shockprowl! Peace to you all, brave Cyber Chumbs!!!!!

I've been to a few weddings in my time. Enjoyed the one up north quite a bit, for a variety of reasons. Not been to one in a while.
The working week has been a bit of a rollercoaster all told - from feeling swamped, to feeling firmly in control of the situation to feeling a little bit swamped again. Belted home this evening to drop a prescription request in at the doctors. Glad I did because whilst I was on my way home there started to be problems with the train services, and we got rerouted because of a problem on the line. ... It has only been raining heavily for eight hours and the Scottish Public Transport system starts to creak around the edges....
This weekend will see the majority of my Christmas shopping being dealt with - one, or at most two focused hunting trips into Falkirk should deal with anything that hasn't been earmarked to be bought online. I fully intend to have everything sorted and dealt with this weekend so that by next weekend I can start staying as far away from the shops, crowds, and saccharine canned Christmas music as humanly possible.

The shops are already starting to heave so I plan to get all my Chrimbo shopping done tomorrow morning/early afternoon in one fell swoop. I shall board the number 22 bus to Ocean Terminal with my bag. I shall run around and get everything done. I dislike shops at the best of times but find them unbearable at this time of year and just can't be arsed going overboard with Consumer Hunger. Should my plan go well I hope to reward myself with some films at the cinema. 'Take Shelter' and '50/50' have caught my eye.

Glad I started my Christmas shopping in September like I do most years in attempt to put more thought into it. On top of that, glad I started a Christmas savers club at the beginning of the year to help, as not having an income really bites. Blaise's 1st birthday is also less than two weeks before Jesus' so I've had to get a little extra and define which gifts are for which day.
I have a few Christmas boxes that I've been making up all year round to take to church for the Romania mission. Thankfully, our outreach is not with Samaritans Purse anymore so I can't get scolded for including fun Transformers tat. Kids all round the world deserve to enjoy changing robot greatness! Alongside that, I've also importantly included provisions as well as candy and tat.
