Sounds like a turnup. Been having to get up frequently too. Little princess is still coughing at night and managing to crawl out of her blankets.

Nice little surprise in the mail today, I won a copy of Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 from the Transformers UK magazine so I'm inserting it into my nephew's Xmas presents for this year

And now I've sorted out my issues with the TFCC site and renewed my membership until January 2013
Looking forward to getting my Runamuck (White One) in the spring (unless it's late again like Side Burn was)

Hello Sportsfans!
My dear wonderful Cyber-Chumbs! After a brief flirtation with the concept of wall papering (something I've never done and am afraid of doing), two troublesome walls in the lounge are now re-skimmed. They're drying and are looking good. As smooth as my Baby's bottom infact! Soon I will be free of the large-scale-DIY spectre... FOREVER!!!! I'll be able to sit back and rest on my own whats-a-names in a fully decorated house-a-rama.
May your weekend be filled with good wines, fine meals, hot women, and exciting action-figure related frolics! HUZZZAGH!!!!

I had to try wallpapering a few months back, turns out it suits my temperament quite well, I especially liked have to cut around things. Then I painted in bright orange. And oddly everyone went "wow, that looks good" which was a surprise. A week of asda and ebay for me. Absolutely shattered and I still have a week or two of ebay to go. At least the money is starting to come in. Realised today two things. 1. I dont have an advent calendar yet 2. I haven't watched Muppet Christmas carol yet. I blame ebay.

I'm also starting to have second thoughts about selling Alf the Storytelling alien. I had a go with it today and it is mind blowing. It's like have Alf sat next to me. One part awesome, one part annoying beyond reason.

My mind has been much occupied with What To Do Next. I'm not entirely happy with my lot and do feel 2012 needs to be a year of action. I feel like I'm stagnating and older than my years. Hmmmm.

After a pretty good day we've had some worrying news, my nan's been taken into hospital as her kidneys have started failing, they're not sure what's caused it right now

I prefer painting to hanging wall-paper (as anyone who has seen my house would be able to guess). Perhaps surprisingly I actually quite like working the gloss paints - skirting boards being a bit of a favourite thing. I get into a bit of a flow with that sort of thing that I don't really feel when I am emulsioning large acerages. Really don't like painting ceilings though. Applying paint in defiance of natural gravity is not fun. May your weekend be filled with good wines, fine meals, hot women, and exciting action-figure related frolics! HUZZZAGH!!!! I had a nice lunch, and a good glass of New Zealand wine with my light supper, so I guess I am part way there. Karl

Had a bit of an emotional kick in the teeth yesterday, so not so good an evening for me. Hopefully tonight, which contains my best friends, booze and burlesque will be better.

I feel like warmed up shite again. I have never felt as continuously ill in any other job than in the current one. I don't think a freezing office helps.

Spent this morning dodging the battering rain to ferry bags one through five to the Shelter shop. Bags six and seven are going to have to wait for another day. Had a very enjoyable walk up the canal this afternoon though - no people around, but there were ducks, a heron and a couple of deer to be observed.
I think the living room is due to be subjected to the next phase of the Great Clearout tomorrow afternoon. Second cinema trip of the weekend will come first though.

Ooh! Dudes! Can't find the music thread, so please do check-out 'Welcome to Mystery' by the Plain White T's. 'Tis freakin' great song. The opening song in Piglet's recent dance show. It may replace 'Atomic' by Blondie as my Second Fave Song of All Time (the first being Tusk by Fleetwood Mac, of course).

I have 'Soft Stone' on my walls and 'Cookie Dough' for the skirting boards. We also had to wait a fair bit as the previous homeowners had a bit of a fascination with artex. We now have nice and smooth walls and they were worth the wait.

Had some screws put into my walls today, one for my 2012 calender (though my advent calender is currently there ) and tomorrow I'm buying a clip frame for my Sticky Fingers print from AA this year so I'll be hanging it up on the other screw then

Internet went down at 2:30 today mid skype session
left it a bit but it didn't come back.
Preverse pleasure obtained by texting a sky employee for bt's help line number
BT's helpline picked up imeadiately and were very efficent, disgnosing the problem back to the faceplate having gone pop on me. Internet now plugged into test socket and working fine
