I too managed a swift cinema double bill. Thankfully, the duff one was viewed first.

If walking straight out of one and into another, thus cutting down on hanging out, then yes!
I did have to move seat during War Horse. A woman behind me and a boy would not shut up, narrating constantly. I turned round, guessed that she was the grandmother and that he was far, far too young to be seeing a 12 cert film, thought: "Its not his fault, but she's an arse", realised I could not possibly win this argument and swiftly moved to a nice quiet bit of the theatre. I go to the cinema lot. It's not the kids who cause problems: it's the adults!

Yes they are. But just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Had a similar problem in 2007 when going to see Spiderman 3, cept the kids were all unsupervised, were playing with phones and overall commenting through the film like it was their own private screening. The usher did nothing and just watched the movie with everyone else.
I managed to get tickets refunded for the party of people I was with.

One of the best things about seeing The Artist was that it was not only the adults (of an age range of about 60 years I reckon) but also the kids that seem entirely absorbed by it. Great to see.
This morning was very cold here - went for a walk up on the canal which was refrozen nicely. The air was crisp and still, and the sun was not long over the horizon so everything was a warm yellow colour. Wonderful. Spent this afternoon doing some sorting out in the house and cooking to top up the freezer whilst listening to a Sapphire and Steel audio drama. Very relaxing way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

What a great way to spend a Sunday, Karlos! I spent mine whizzing around North Yorkshire, managed to do some good along the way n'all.
Watched Return of the Jedi tonight! That's after Star Wars friday night, and Empire Strikes Back last night. Bloody marvelous!!! 'part from freakin' whatshisname, Christianson, Hanson? (Can't remember his name) -Anakin from eps 2 and 3- appearing at the end of Jedi in One-with-the-Force ghost mode next to Yoda and Obi-Wan. That pisses me right off! SHAW SHAW SHAW SHAW!!!!
