Well since Mr A @'ed me on Twitter I thought I'd better rush over to explain. Shockprowl, I am led to understand you are unfamiliar with the game of Soggy Biscuit. I shall now endeavor to explain thusly: Note: I haven't played this since my first year at Uni, 1996, so the rules may have changed. Soggy Biscuit is a common "hazing" ritual, usually played by members of first year University sports teams and societies. It's also played in the armed forces and other groups. I'm surprised ambulance drivers/paramedics don't play it, to be honest! Simply put, one places a single biscuit such as a digestive or ginger nut or hob nob in the middle of a small table or on the floor. (It's important for later in the game that it's not stale and perfectly edible.) Participants then gather over the biscuit and masturbate as quickly as they can until they ejaculate over the biscuit. The ejaculate must land on the biscuit... there are no bonus points for hair/eye/ceiling shots. The last person to ejaculate over the biscuit loses the game and, as a forfeit, must eat it. I hope I have described the game and its rules to your satisfaction. Should you have any further questions or comments, I will only be too happy to help. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Always good to awaken from a busy night shift to a funny story on the Hub! Thankyou for that highly amusing explanation, Tomo! Thankfully we don't play that in the Ambulance service, hygiene and all that, but I can think of a few of my colleagues wouldn't think twice about participating! We're good with body fluids, after all!

Somehow I suspected he'd be the man to set Ian's mind to rest on this matter. Either that or break it for all eternity..... Tomo is, indeed, a force of nature!

The next time a charity collector acosts me in the street I'll be less careful and fall on them rather than at their feet. Really hurt myself, would've been fine is they hadn't stepped out in front of me. Grrrrrrrr

Chuggers must be stopped. They piss me right off. They don't work for charities, they work for agencies. Most of my working life has been working for actual charities.

Plex would accept no nonsense from Chuggers. He is just the robot to get them off our streets. They get short shrift from me - especially the ones whose plan is to stand directly in your way and bully you into stopping for them. Mind you, not one of them has ever actually won the resulting game of chicken...
A much better day today, helped by the first really good nights sleep I have had for a couple of weeks. Looking forward to quite a busy weekend. a couple of films I want to see at the cinema if I get a chance, a birthday outing on Saturday night and I must get around to getting a few things done in the house and garden - more clearing out, and I need to put up a bird-feeder I think, see if I can attract some avians to the garden over the winter months.

Ugh, just found evidence of mice getting into the house again tonight which I really did not need. I despair of living conditions in rented accommodation in London.
Also, have almost hit the broadband limit for the month because apparently someone else (in all likelihood, the really dodgy lot who moved in next door a month ago) has been using our wifi. Have hidden the network, but have been running it without password protection as my Mac keeps dropping the connection otherwise. Oddly, the iPhone is fine. So have to sort that out as well.
And Last night was the leaving do of a long-term colleague, which was a bit sad in itself but he was happy - if there was a theme to the conversation of the night it was how rubbish it is to work in this place these days.
Here's hoping February goes a bit better.

I am cabbaged. Family business to take care of this weekend. Took next Monday off, not to do Nice Things but just due to general high levels of stress.

The City Farm is doing Bird Watch but alas I am away this weekend. Curses!
Decided to make something of having next Monday off so that will be catching up with new releases at the cinema methinks.

Today followed in the footsteps of yesterday, as a day when things felt like they were going my way a bit. Hectic to begin with, but pretty productive all told. Hopefully next week will continue the theme.

It has been pointed out to me that I, a Maths graduate, can't count: Twenty years ago today I was in a major car accident and wrote my first car off round me. Coming down Egham Hill (A30) dead on the speed limit. Someone comes out of Middle Hill without looking and I go straight into the back of them. Shortens the lenght of the car by a foot and I get carted off to hospital. 2 days later (the Friday) my then Girlfriend tells me she's been doing naughty things with someone else for a month 10 days after that (Monday 10th Feb) I fall down the stairs at college damaging my already knackered back. That leads to a stay in the University health centre from Weds 12th -> Sunday 16th. The first night out I go round a friend's and have to lie on the floor with back pain. At that point I notice it's not quite my back giving me grief and retire to bed. The next day, Monday 17th, I wake in agony, nearly crawl up the hill to the University health centre, lying on the floor outside when they open. A few hours later I'm in St Peter's hospital Chertsey having my appendix out. I lost well over a month of lectures from that second term and it was the shittiest period of my entire life. So if I had my appendix out on the 17th Feb 1992, fell down the stairs on 10th Feb, 10 days before that would have been 31st Jan and thus the car crash happened on Wednesday 29th Jan, 20 years ago *this* Sunday.

I'm gutted to have found out that my local Entertainers are closing. The store has to move on due to extortionate rental rates apparently. I have access to two other stores, but this particular one was a nice walking distance and was like a proper traditional highstreet style venue.
The store is due to close this Easter. On the bright side, there may be bargains afoot.

Not unbearable but persistent toothache for the second half of the week is slowly getting too me. On the plus side I started on new animation.
Anyone on here think they can do a decent Thundercracker (G1) voice?

More prominent in S1 - same voice actor as Kup in S3/4 and Alpha Trion - John Stephenson iirc.

Yeah I couldn't remember the voice until I rewatched some assorted episodes. At first I was a little disappointed as it was very different to what I imagined, but it suits the bitter Thundercracker longing for the old days and pink paint that I'm going for.

I spent yesterday evening out at a friends birthday do. Always nice to see folk I haven't seen in a while, a good time was had by all I think. This morning I had a lie-in with a book and, seeing as the weather was a bit grim, decided to stay close to home. I have hung my two bird feeders from the shed (one for peanuts, one for seeds), whether they will actually attract any birds is another question, One can but try though.
