Hmm. Yes. The green does him no favours. I will be buying black Ironhide, though. Actually, I may just get them both. Ratchet may look better 'in the plastic'.

A green ambulance is nearly as silly as a blue fire engine. Oh wait .....

If I hadn't wasted so much money on a sealed Ironhide, I'd be happy to pick up the black one.

Fairly uninteresting to look at I'd say. (Also, it is the wrong colours for a Guardian unit anyway, and Omega Supreme doesn't look much like one to start with..... :-) )

True, true. I like this colour scheme better than the original red/yellow/beige, and would be tempted by it if it wasn't 70 quid before postage. Anyone remember what the regular reissue comes in at?

Anyone remember what the regular reissue comes in at? 10,000 Yen I think. I like the Guardian Robot, but yeah, dunno about that price.

I read this and though "Oh e-Hobby have the Henkei version !"
Odd news this. I'd have put money on there being a classics version !

"Sunstorm was the Dreamwave original character who was inspired by animation from the generation 1 cartoon of the seeker jets that Starscream commanded."
Actually, no. E-Hobby did the toy first. Hasbro and 3H later did a Heroes of Cybertron version. Only after that were Dreamwave able to make a character out of him, as their licence allowed them to use Hasbro characters, not Takara.

There is no Sunstorm. Any Sunstorms you may see are phantoms! Illusions of the mind!

The Universe Sunstorm was produced in 2004.
The HOC Sunstorm was produced in 2003 for people pre-booking for OTFCC 2004.

I so nearly bought those guys, but I didn't in the end.
I really want Magnificus, I think he's a great concept (and name!) and he has a Microman too! Kup as Orion Pax is also really sweet.
The worst ones are probably the 'electrum plated' ones to be honest. Solid chrome figures don't really do it for me.

I bought Sunstorm at AA, although when I came to open it I discovered that it was the Encore reissue and not the original. I hadn't even known there was an Encore reissue.
I also have the purple Galvatron which I thought for a long time was e-Hobby but eventually discovered was the "standard" version.

Sunstorm was re-issued in Encore? I had no idea. What number was it?
As for e-hobby I think* I still have Orion Pax with Dion, the Cobalt Sentries, Twincast, the 'Gobots' and Laser Ultra Magnus. All are splendid.

*When things were mad 2 years ago, I had to sell/give away a lot of my collection and most of what was left went into a garage and is probably very damp damaged by now. So I actually have very little clue as to what I still have from my collection pre-2008.
