Martin reminds us that this week is Rhyming Week Yes indeed, and it's not for the meek. (If we get rhyming in The Daily Straxus I'll explode with joy like... the Klingon moon of Praxis?) Martin

A day spent busy in the garden in the hope of making it more zen.
But painting the deck with stain, is bringing nothing but pain.

A day in the Garden like Bogatan I've had. Done so much digging my back feels bad. But watching the offspring playing was dear. Now I'm drinking a well earned beer.

Today I'm off to play in the gym in the hopes of making myself a bit more fit and trim After that, I'm really not sure I hope my decisions will not prove to be poor. A friend gave me things to think about last night I need to take time, to make choices that are right. For now I shall make the most of the sun Being out in its shine is never not fun!

Oh, you have to 'sing' it to yourself. Jingle style. 'Sing' it, don't just speak it, 'sing' it.

Here am I am in the Islands of Channel (And yes for once I did pack a flannel)
Ache do my feet And I'm baked in the heat
But I though I should try to post once I the week of the rhyme. Even though little online time it is mine...

Fed up of sulkiness, it's happiness I seek Taken a while, but feeling better this week.
However a changed shift at work could set me back, Also there was another thing that made me go "ACK!"
A card arrived as I sat at my computer, It did not bring joy - it was CUTA!

A week of words that rhyme? If Wheelie did it would be a crime.
I shall join this style of communication, Between all members of the tmuk nation.
This week I go to see the doc, About my skin, now there's a shock.
Cone the weekend I'm heading off, With girlfriend to the country, am I going soft?
We are taking our doggie along for the ride, On my car I hang my "Newfoundland onboard" sign with pride.
I hope that the weather is just a wee but dry, But if its not I won't cry.
I shall end my post with this final note! Remember its £1.50 for every quote!

Rhyming week is almost halfway done, if I can keep it up I will have a bun. I quite like the Large Hadron Collider, 'tis like my tum but somewhat wider!

Went to hospital to see a doctor last night, Turns out that my skin is still not just right.
Three week plan of treatment I now have to follow, Ointments, creams and tablets to swallow.
I was told that stress can be a major factor, Should I change my job to instead drive a tractor?
I think not, instead I just need to chill, Much more preferred to taking a pill!

The changed shift at work was not too bad, This morning I was feeling far from sad.
Stop-start traffic, speedfreaks and drivers I'm sure were yawning, All encountered as I drove the Davemobile around this morning.
Crazy stuff did not cause my stress levels to raise, But then disaster as I reversed into the Davecave.
Ripped a back panel off, plenty of scratches too, Needless to say, I did not shout out "WOHOO!"
