Collection of short stories published in a single volume.
Basic synopsis is there's a boy and he finds a hole in a tree in his garden. He goes through the hole and ends up in a land of dinosaurs. There's typically only one of each dinosaur species and each one can talk. I think the stories rotate around his friendship with a Diplodocus. The T-Rex is portrayed as evil.
