Club Seacons in box. I long since lost interest in these, about the time the price of $120 was announced. I still cant afford them but they have gone back on my want list thanks mostly to the G1 nostalgia the box evokes. The G2 style colours help as well. www.transformersclub.com/_images/seacons/seacon2up.jpgAndy

Couldn't find a thread about this... So... Am I the only one? Or did anybody else secure multiple Seacon sets? Pete

I'm quite keen on getting a set, but it's beyond my current means. I'd have to get them off ebay anyway as I'm not joining the club which is very expensive for little return.

You shouldn't say "beyond my current means" to what is effectively the second Seacon reissue in a thirty year time span That's how I look at it. It's why I bought reissue Predaking when he came out -700 USD price tag and all - I didn't care. unlike fellows like Starscream, Megatron, Prime and Soundwave - I highly doubt the Seacons will be reissued again for a long long time. Some people do note that you can get them on ebay or what not but - a) I don't like vintage stuff - I prefer minty fresh, b) I like MISB and c) I don't really trust ebay that much for expensive purchaces. This might be illogical on my part - since the...oh...4 times I bought something on ebay everything went fine... oh - but then there was the 5th... G1 Nightbeat at the 3 weeks of waiting for the package because the lady didn't send it .. Err... point is: the set looks fantastic: I for one love the G2 color scheme - very dark and menacing and well...wet...as in ocean like... I hope it has tampoo printing for the faction symbols as well get it! Pee

It's more a case of literally beyond my means as I am unemployed. I literally do not have the money to pay for a set. If it is still available when I have money coming in, I will be all over them like a fly on, er, you know.

Pete (or Pee if you prefer), please tell me you didn't pay $700 for a Predaking reissue!

Ooops. Meant to say 700 PLN - Polish zloties. The exchange rate was 1 USD = 4 PLN back then. As to unemployment - the seacons are supposed to be out in November. I preordered them. Maybe your luck will turn by then, Ralph ? Pete

I suspect they'll sell out on pre-orders, if the pre-pre-order excitement on web boards is anything to go by. I'll see what I can do to secure a few sets for the Scots crew/wider Hub.

They sold 30% roughly in the first two days. Usually after the mad rush it will quieten down till the sets are nearly sold out.
Im curious to see how long it takes to sell out. I am sure the Seacons at least will sell out sooner or later.

Andy- are they limited? Two per customer or something? If so BBTS may have made a whole bunch of their staff club members to get access to stuff like this.

No limits, although I havent been able to put more than 4 of each into one basket. I think others have been able to. But there nothing to stop people doing multiple orders.

I really hope, what with the moulds back in use, that Tomy/Takara grant us a proper reissue set in the original colours with all the accessories.
Until then, I am happy with the BW2 version (even though most of the weapons and "Nautilator" is missing.) as the Collector's Club colours aren't doing anything for me.

No, nor me. The colours are from an aborted Universe release, I believe.
Meanwhile, I do rather fancy getting the Nightbeat.

Club Seacons and Nightbeat anyone want them?
These things seem to be selling pretty well and the Seacons in particular may sell out soon.
(though I'm a little confused the update tonight said there was 296 Seacon sets left, which is about 75% of the 1200 run which is the figure that was given last week so its possible sales have ground to a halt)
Either way I'm thinking of ordering soon and wanted to know if anybody else is interested in getting either without joining the club. If I could order 4 of each shipping is about $155. To order just one of each it costs $62 so theres a reasonable saving, and not having to join the club or going through BBTS or other online store saves you another $90. I wont be ordering for a few days, probably next week so if anyone is interested you've a few days to think.

That looks quite neat. I like the colour scheme and that's a mould I don't recognise. I see he has a red Decepticon logo. Perhaps he is a dirty stinkin' traitorrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

It's the Universe version of Onslaught - Barricade from the Energon Combaticon combiner. The one where the limbs were sold here and not the main body
