That does look pretty. Although if I was going to pick one of the Datsuns (because I have none) I'd have to go with Prowl. And also I still have Alternators Silverstreak, which I'm going to hang on to as my *Streak on account of history and memories...
Could this then be the rumoured "next" Masterpiece after Star Sabre and before... er... whoever's coming next..?

Does Tomy have a webstore like Bandai do? Because if they do this would be the sort of thing that I would have thought would be ideal for it.
I'll be honest, this does surprise me - the number of runs we've had at Bluestreaks without getting Diaclone homage schemes (compared to some of the Diaclone derived stuff) made me figure it was a "when the sky falls" kind of thing.

Hmmmm. He's not bad, but I've always imagined blue Bluestreak to be a much darker blue.

Alternative theory #1: They didn't feel certain that this would sell in the same numbers as the other MP's as they felt it was a much more "out there" scheme than they had tried previously with it not having a track record in Transformers in the same way.
Alternative Theory #2: They were targeting this at the domestic market more than the international one and they set the number of pieces at what they thought the domestic market would bear.

Well my preorder was in anyway so I wasn't worried.
It's one of the things I have always wanted, so money where my mouth is. I bitched about it for nearly 30 years so it's a no brainer.
When MP gold Bumblebee arrives I can reenact early Marvel comics story Brainstorm with him and Jetfire.

But at least that included Prowl so I arent adding to Shockprowls despair.
I kind of want Bluestreak, it does look fantastic. Regular BS is already my fave of the three, sorry Shockprowl, and Blue BS looks better. But, but.......
