I remember hating eating them but buying them becuase it was He-Man, and my mum would use the jelly molds to make little chocolate He-Man figures for me

I was utterly obsessed by them as a child. A local corner shop sold them (later the only place I could find 'Oink!' the comic and also the only place in town that got random Marvel/DC American comics).
I am still obsessed by He-Man jellies.

I loved the He-Man jelllies.
Loved making my own with the moulds afterwards as well.

I loved them and until a couple of years ago the ice cream van that came round did Slime Slurps which were the same thing only in generic monster/animal/insect shapes and I'd get boxes ordered for me.
I might see if you can still get them on Amazon.

Why was there never a Jelly Man whose body would have been a jelly mold atop the normal He-Man legs, and you could make his body frm jelly and then eat him while playing.
Another obvious omission from Mattel!

That would chafe so much. He'd look like something from Hellraiser when he gets out!

Thing is, I can really picture him running in that kind of get-up. I can't get the image out of my head.

Interesting stuff there.
A few things were always self-evident just looking at the figures, didn't realise how many bits had come from pre-existing lines though.

A seven inch range of anatomically accurate figures, and a 5.5 inch range much more like the originals.
