That's a really nice cover.
I like the toy-based-within-reason style of the robots, and it's really atmospheric, too. Love the lighting, and the Sharkticons gathered in the background with their glowing eyes.

I've managed to pick up every Generations book since Generations Deluxe (even though I, er, seem to have displaced a few). They are always a fabulous visual feast and somehow the compilers keep finding images from the past that show things we didn't know. Looking forward to the next one. When is it due?

Can't have been much if it came from Amazon. They're usually pretty cheap.

That needs challenging, I thought books were exempt from customs charges?

Post by Pinwig on Nov 30, 2017 22:16:51 GMT
Should be. Customs charges are just VAT and there's no VAT on books. Sounds like the customs label hasn't been made clear.

Commiserations. They'll refund the VAT, but not the handling charge. Did you buy from HLJ? Was the label clearly printed / readable? dasi I have paid the fine and will put in a complaint when the book is in hand. -Ralph

All of us who used HLJ can expect similar I guess.
HLJ really dropped the ball if they didn't specify book.

I got mine from HLJ with no charge, but had FedEx shipping as it's cheaper [and quicker] for multiple copies.
