It would be a problem pitting those two against each other, but in my head I'm going to ignore the fact the Dinobots can combine. They don't, shouldn't and won't in this house, so it won't be a problem. Predaking being Devastator size is interesting, but we can cope dear Shockers. Look at the originals and repeat three times, "he's allowed to be that big".  |

We know Vulcanicus is a 4 deluxe & 1 Voyager combiner. He'll be as big as any other CW combiner. A little taller, like Victorion and Computron, thanks to the feet. Predaking will be bigger than Vulcanicus. |

You know, I never realised Predaking is *that* big compared to the others. No wonder Hasbro view him as the ultimate combiner. I have the platinum one from a few years back, but, well, you know the score.

Certainly was my first was so bad Amazon sent me a second one (and let me keep the first). Individually they were fine but the combiner ports didnt work at all. As in lifting it up would cause the legs to drop off. Rotate it and the arms would fall off. And the wings wouldnt stay on at all.
I still at least half suspect it had already been returned once (either it was broken by the first owner or it already wouldnt combine and the first owner made things worse by trying to force limbs to some non existant locking point which just mushed everything up even more)

From what I've heard it's a bit of a Russian Roulette about:
The combiner joints
The limbs
The die-cast parts not being completely molded
That's not to say there's not good ones out there (and it does look fab) but apparently the QC guy was asleep at the factory that day

Generally I think I agree with that. Devastator should be around the same size as the Scramble City combiners, Predaking slightly bigger maybe. But only Slightly.
Pinwig, you've seen the cartoon episodes more recently than me, how do they compare with each other there? IIRC the only place Devstator is really a hulking giant is the Movie and that's responsible for his CW toy.

I don't recall Devvy being shown bigger than the Special Teams because obviously they were new and being promoted. Predaking doesn't fight alongside any of the others does he? He's too busy with Sky Lynx. Oh, maybe in Call of the Primitives but I haven't got that far yet. |
