Red is ONLY exeptable in a Power Master-like truck/tailer combination super robot. Any 'normal' Optimus Prime MUST HAVE BLUE HANDS!

I suspect Jim has chosen AM Prime because he knows, as well as I do, that the hands and forearms are blue and that's a whole different world of wrong smaller PM Prime robot......

Primes hands are the same colour has Soundwave & Frenzy - but you need to ignore when Soundwave is coloured purple & Rumble is called Frenzy

Going back to toy images - Optimus hands have been blue, blue/red for powermaster, blue. G2 - blue, black - unreleased red, grey. RID white but that is the match Ultra Magnus & we know how we love RID Magnus. Armada era - grey/white? but black on box art. blue black. Animated blue. Prime grey - red, grey, blue, black
