I think you're right. Look at the Grimlock - the mouth is moulded shut. That's got to be a legion size figure at most. You can tell from the size of the hinges on the neck and the back. No way is that a voyager. It's almost like the Cyber Battalion stuff.

I agree. Not POTP.

Also it says "Some assembly required." I don't recall that being present on TF packaging before.

Yes that's really interesting isn't it. Maybe snapfit pieces? Very odd.

Man! look at those elbows and hands! These are shampoo bottle central!
They remind me of the naffness of Action Masters (ducks). No wait, maybe they snap fit together like Hero Mashers. They look the same kind of cheapness. These surely aren't the line replacing RiD? they look more like the Cyber Battalion stuff.

Proper hands, jointed neck to allow a proper stance, and opening jaws and this would actually be a pretty cool cheap toy

Yeah, it's the complete lack of poseability in the dinosaur head that kills that for me. Although I'd also guess it's a Legends-size toy, so not surprising.

I was going to say no, he clearly defaults back to his original mode. But a thought occurred to me - he shouldn't. He should default back to Pretender Grimlock in ATAP. I must consult with Martin. Andy

Robot head is WAY too big and detailed, and clearly a seperate and posable piece. The ball joints in the elbow are way too small, too.

I agree. I think we saw something that said they're voyager size, but carded. These are going to be big hollow rubbish. Maybe Hasbro have evaluated the cyber battalion stuff and decided to do a Poundland line.

And yes, why didn't I see that? I really need to dig my Pretender Grimlock out. And, erm. Is this going to mean a major re-working of ATAP..?

No, only panel blocked the last few pages so no reworking needed. Andy

Getting less excited about this line as time goes on. But hey! PottoP is here, so not to worry.
Hopefully all will become clear by this evening...

Oh good lord. This is the same as that other tat we saw recently isn't it. What's going on? Is this really the RiD replacement?
...
Perhaps not. Chrome translated that page as:
In the comment of the link destination, it is written as a new animation to be released next year, a product of Cyber Bath · Chapter 1, but it is unknown whether it is so in fact.
Cyber Bath! Transformers: Cyber Bath!
Oh I want one of those please.

The wheels suggest that they're Legion versions.

Hope so, but the hinge on the neck of that Grimlock suggested it was Legion sized too and didn't the info say it was voyager?

The wheels suggest that they're Legion versions. The transformation suggests something simpler, but larger than legion. The bumblebee car nose, and optimus rear end seem to be knees with the rest of the car/truck being a solid block. I'm guessing these are from one of the rubbish side lines. The Stepchangers, or a gimmick we've not seen yet (we'd not have understood the crash combiners seeing them like this)

That makes more sense. When we saw the art was card back stuff it made no sense the toys were voyagers.
