Battlemasters:
Two Targetmasters are nearly exactly what you'd expect. Blast effects are meh. They don't really end themselves to being used by any TF because they're so strongly associated with another toy
Lioniser is fab, sword AND gun modes.
Micromasters:
hips are like plasticine! Pop off all the time. Both combined guns are rubbish, but cars can be used as individual guns. Sword is nice. Some of the TFs are more complicated than they ought to be, and some bits do not want to cooperate

Micromasters: hips are like plasticine! Pop off all the time. Oh no, that's what I was hoping not to hear. Are they basically that Minicon car team that just exploded all the time if you touched them?

Knew they reminded me of something! Yes. Except it's not just the cars, it's all three teams

Siege Sideswipe and Hound are OUTSTANDING. Solid, fun, great transformations, superb detailing, great plastic, puts PotP Jazz to shame. They have to be two of the best deluxes I've ever held. I think they're better than Prime and Megatron. If Prowl is anywhere near as good I'll be very happy.
...in fact, Sideswipe and Hound are so solid and look so good, I'm surprised Prowl's lower legs are so gappy... You don't think there's some miss-transformation going on?

So if we get Lancer from Novastar, we will at least have a complete combiner set. Although one where all four limbs look almost identical. This must be a Walgreens job?

No, it's believed to be an internet exclusive - ala the Prime Wars figures this year - with two other sets: see tmukhub.proboards.com/post/344903/threadWalgreens next year is Ratchet, presumed to be from Siege Ironhide

Generic Autobot Girlfriend #4 (AKA The Green One)
Okay I am confused as hell now. I thought the main reason behind Chromia being neutered was to remove connections to previous lines. I mean, that was the only thing that made sense (at least to me). Now we turn around and get a (nearly) straight repaint of the original version, for GAG4, which makes Chromia... RRRAAAAAR!!! Toph confused!!! TOPH SMASH!!!!
On a side note, Dazzlestrike is disappointing. The only change from lionizer is adding a green strip to the blade.

It's the green strip that makes it.
But, yeah, this is... baffling. I guess they heard the fans, and decided to give us what we wanted. Whilst still not giving us what we wanted when it comes to Chromia. It's bizarre.
If they're really listening though we'll suddenly find Prime Master Longtooth coming packaged with another t'Interwebs exclusive...

What's a 'Battlepack', as in 'Voyager Skywarp Battlepack'? Fancy way of saying multi-pack, probably. They'll probably stick a battlemaster or two in with him. Since those are just fancy independently sold accessories, it'd be a bit disingenuous to call such a set a two-pack.

Dazzlestrike is an amazing name and totally justifies this release!
My only problem here is that if Dazzlestrike was coming in these colours anyway, why not have released Lionizer in the correct colours in the first place? Missed opportunity!
