Or if this was an afterthought, make dazzlestrike in lionizer colors so you can just swap 'em out if we ever get Rad.

Got'ya, thanks CJ. So long as I get all three 'Con jets I don't care how they're presented. Just hope there isn't a crazy price-hike.

That I can understand. The Peninsular War in particular is an area of interest of mine.

After defeating the Prussians at Jena, Napoleon entered Berlin and visited Frederick the Great's monument saying to his marshals- "If he were still alive, we would not be here".

Got voyagers and micros today.
Micros are basically you get what you see. If you were excited for them, then you'll probably love them. If you weren't, then they are a thing that exists. But Stormcloud is unusually complex for a toy this sixe, these days. Like, he reminds me of some of the armada minicons.
Voyagers- here are the main things: • the oversculpting is not nearly as distracting in person. Either they pulled it back from the prototypes to the production run, or else it just doesn't come through as much as it does in photos.
• the weathering deco is both worse and better in hand. It doesn't stand out as much as I thought (maybe because it's color is almost flush with the grey plastic), but it definitely hurts the toy. There is a lot of details and paint apps that got sacrificed tor this, though megatron suffers worse due to his plastic color. It's much more distracting on Optimus, because it really stands out against his red, but as his thights are the same color as Megatron, it was pointless to apply it to his thights instead of his shins.
• I LOVE OPTIMUS. If it was not for the weathering, he would be PERFECT. He's exactly what I wanted out of a Voyager Optimus. Robot mode is the update. The cyberpunk gribble added to his vehicle isn't nearly as distracting to me in hand as it was in photos. Megatron's legs get all the praise, but I find his transformation to be interesting, intuitive, and fun. The only thing I wish for, was that he had a trailer that broke down into weaponizer parts instead of a supersuit.
• Megatron... well, you get what you expect. There are some things I like better than TR Megatron. He's even more spot on in appearance, but TR is really well done too, does more, and is a more fun toy. But he has a better fusion cannon. His leg transformation doesn't appeal to me as much as it seems everyone else, his head IS GOD AWFUL!!! I mean it is the dumbest design- exactly like MP Tracks: it's held up over an empty space by nothing but a panel on a hinge. His plastic shade is awful. It makes it look cheaper than it is, and it eats the detail which needed some tampos, except the deco budget was consumed entirely by the weathering tampos. He's desperate for a reprolabel set. His swordgun is also not great, as Phil once said.
• The sooner Hasbro drops the weapon effects, the better. They don't look great on the battlemasters, but look awful in person, attached to the bigger bots. They don't look like they're being hit in the shoulder by lasers, they look like they're shooting lasers from random places on their bodies. This is just waisted money on losable nonsense.

We now need a Weaponizer God Bomber. At least Voyager scale, and with two alt mode configurations- Spaceship so it can be sold independently, and G1ish styled Optimus Prime trailer.

I've been resisting, helped by not actually being here, but last night TR Hot Rod & Triggerhappy took possession of Battlemasters Firebolt & Blowpipe. And they'll there probably stay which highlights one of the problems I have with the Battlemasters: not that the weapons can't be swapped between the characters but these weapons naturally gravitate to a specific toy: they originally came with a particular toy and the toy is out without those weapons.
Lionizer is more mobile as his original partner isn't out yet, and you can make a good argument that this isn't the original Lionizer too.
Pteraxodon and Smashdown will likewise be able to be moved around, especially as they look original characters but Aimless and Caliburst also have pre existing characters as parters who are out without their signature weapons.
They could have almost done with doing some new character Battlemaster guns: if further Battlemaster guns turn up this year, I'll lay good money on them being Haywire, Recoil and, perhaps, Fracas for the TR toys who didn't have a Targetmaster
