His swordgun is also not great, as Phil once said. • The sooner Hasbro drops the weapon effects, the better. They don't look great on the battlemasters, but look awful in person, attached to the bigger bots. They don't look like they're being hit in the shoulder by lasers, they look like they're shooting lasers from random places on their bodies. This is just waisted money on losable nonsense. I quite like them as shooty effects on the guns. On the body is variable.... At least one of Sideswipe's pegs is too small. Oddly the one I've got the best use elsewhere is Leoniser's which can tab into the side of Megatron's sword gun using the rectangular tabs.

I've been resisting, helped by not actually being here, but last night TR Hot Rod & Triggerhappy took possession of Battlemasters Firebolt & Blowpipe. And they'll there probably stay which highlights one of the problems I have with the Battlemasters: not that the weapons can't be swapped between the characters but these weapons naturally gravitate to a specific toy: they originally came with a particular toy and the toy is out without those weapons. At last you understand!!! At last!!! Weapon swapping is wrong!!! -Ralph

The fireblasts with the Siege Battlemasters fit the cannons sticking out the lower half of TR Overlord's chest.

I still hold out hope. With the TR Chaos box set appearances we are still in silly season.

Hmmm. Not a deployment that I am planning. TR Triggerhappy already has a Classics Nightstick that I had around anyway, so he is sorted for a gun. My thinking is currently either to give Elita-1 Firebolt, as she only has those ridiculously tiny pistols which really don't suit her, or let Classic Jetfire have it on the grounds that Jetfire is the "early adopter" and the geek for the new tech so a Battlemaster upgrade suits there. Quake was going to get a Battlemaster, but the longer I fiddle around with him the more it feels unnecessary - he has the big artilley gun, and a solid rifle for close-up work... He doesn't feel at all bereft really. Or Elita-1 could get Lionizer so as to play on the slightly Leozack-esquenesss of her appearance... "Lionizer Attack!" :-) Karl

Siege wave one was marked for the end of december.
They always do this, so add a couple months. If wave one says january, assume late november to early december. If wave two is a couple months later to the date they said (they said jan, so wave two is april), expect late april to early march.
And don't forget it's almost january.

That's Hasbro's dates at shows. These are dates when a retailer expects to sell them, which are usually more accurate. Having said that, it does seem a little later than normal, I'd expected Feb ish. When did POTP w2 hit?

Feb for Primemaster and Legends, though IIRC the Legends had been out in HK since the turn of the year.

Pretty sure Laserbeak is mistransformed. Ravage looks like he has a gun mode or something. There's a piece that's part of his neck that's completely separate, and looks like it could be a gun barrel or a handle. Just realized that even though there's a huge cavity vacated by the missing CW connector square, they chose to have her head just hang off the rear of the vehicle. That's just... beyond lazy.
