I have been trying to convince the boy to get some but alas, these robots do not tick his boxes. He likes the TV show though.

Not really seen this at home, youngest prefers G1 Transformers, takes after her old man (he says proudly), and Rescue Bots. Eldest is way past such things. The toys look fun though.

These recently popped up in Tescopolis. I have no interest for as long as Letrabots exist.

The combination element tempts me but I suspect these are smaller than they look in the picture. There's a 5" line that looks cool, but they're £13 a go.

I saw another line advertised too, Screechers, which seem to be like jumpstarters but are cars that spring transform into creatures. Not as aesthetically pleasing though.
It just interested me to note that there is enough of a market for transformers that other companies are still capitalising on the idea.

With TF's either being thin on the ground (or not at all) or at high price points there is certainly a gap in the market for other robot/transforming toys in the supermarket sector.

The smaller Super Wings all have the same Transformation with pullout arms at the sides and legs/lower torso that folds out from underneath.
My boy was into them for a while, but moved on quickly. The show is pretty decent.
