Love this thread. The building excitement is just like birthdays of old. Shockers heading for Omega is the same as it was for all of us back in the day. Keeping that alive is pretty special. I wonder if I can convince Mrs P to get me an Omega for Christmas.
See, the problem these days is that no one in my family buys me toys for Christmas because they think I buy too many anyway so buying another is just one more on the pile and nothing special. But if I buy one for Christmas for myself, I feel guilty playing with that on Christmas day and ignoring what others have bought me. Catch 22, impossible situation, so the fact Shockers can legitimately look forward to this and the excitement of opening it... Truly great.

After me and the kids watched the cartoon on DVD over and over and Omega became a personal and household favourite. For someone as nostalgia driven as me, it's rare to become so passionate about a character later in life, as all my nostslgasms are based on childhood obsessions. This is the ONE Titan I've been waiting for! And there's the added bonus that the kids will love him to. EVERYTHING BEGINS AND ENDS WITH Omega Supreme 14 sleeps until Omega Day. |
