Can't tell from the trailer whether it looks promising or not, since there is no dialogue and no performances to judge, just an intriguing premise. (The fact Karla thought it was a game pretty much says it all.)
Reading on the website how the film is made diminishes my hopes for the end product, I'm afraid. Sounds like a great fun experiment, stimulating the creativity of those who get involved in the making of it, but it seems more focussed on them than on making the best film possible for the final audience.
I could be wrong.

Depends on the script, really. I've seen the producers previous effort, Star Wreck, which was a steaming turd. Like most fan-produced films it had tip-top production values but a poor script.
