I suspect the speeder-bike is still there; we were looking specifically for exits. The text is telling us not to bother looking around out here. Remember we can't drive the bike without killing ourselves and the info terminal screen basically said 'use this to learn how to do things safely'. We're one step short of finishing this section of the game - we need the username and password to the terminal. Once we're logged in we can learn how to ride the bike, then use it to go to the city. I'm pretty sure the Borg isn't coming with us on the bike, but he may feature again later given what the note said. Everything else here is done.
However without the parser we're a bit stuck! I suppose we resume in a fortnight, otherwise we'll just end up with a looong string of suggested actions and if Stom does get a chance to check in he won't know which to act on anyway.

We can. It'll be hard without a parser to bounce ideas off, but we could try. As we have time, I'll probably go back through the last 22 pages and list everything we've done/found/interacted with. However I don't think that will help. Things pop into my head, like the head height scratches on the booth door. What was that about?

I would imagine if we hadn't, we would know what we're doing. But then the dog problem needed us to understand Ghostbusters to solve it, although we might have got the dials right by accident eventually. So is this another puzzle that relies on a media reference to understand it?

Right chaps, we're back in the game.
We need to work out a username and password.
The password hint on the sheet predates the note we left ourselves so may not be connected (meaning the username is probably nothing to do with SP), but it doesn't help us find the username. Unless we're supposed to make a connection to something we already know, we're missing a clue to the username.
We're also supposed to be unlocking the Borg's power somehow.

This is a Total Recall / Star Trek / Ghostbusters crossover. I hate gratuitous crossovers! pw hint: ¡¡ initialisation logs!! And Star Wars. Those first two i's are actually upside down exclamation marks. The font makes them look like i's. What the significance of that is I can't work out. Doesn't that mean emphasis or strong emotion in Spanish when you get exclamations either end of a statement? We haven't found or come across anything else that has unresolved puzzles at the moment, as far as I can remember. Somehow we need a username (unless it's just 'user') and to work out how the hint about initialisation logs gives us the password. Whether the password is in the logs that scroll too fast to read, or it's something else. But I can't see why the console would interact with us without us logging in first. When we examined the terminal we got: The terminal doesn't appear to have a keyboard or other physical input system.
There's a small green light in the bottom right corner under the display, at least it seems powered despite currently displaying a blank screen.And when we talked to it it woke up.The terminal screen flickers, logs scroll up the screen too fast for you to read as it initialises it's system. Then the screen goes blank briefly before showing the following prompt...

Looking at the pile of clothes on the floor, they seem to comprise a green uniform of some kind. You notice the letters BUNCE across the back and ARMED across the left breast. Clues to username? Martin |

I don't think BUNCE and ARMED are part of the username - we worked out that was Ambulance Paramedic, which is part of the conundrum that our name appears to be SP - thought to be ShockProwl. But the password hint on the sheet that also had the note from us to ourselves (signed SP) wasn't written by us - the description said we'd reused the paper that had already had the pwd hint written on it. So it feels like the login for the computer isn't our own login, it feels like it's someone else's that we need to get access to. Maybe we do need to have a good look around inside again.
