It's what it's called.
I don't like baked potato unless I can mash it up.

Does the skin form an edible bowl for the mash?

Don't be silly. You just mash it up with the rest.

The only toastie is a cheese toastie.
Cheese on toast is also good.

OH MY GOD I LOVE TOASTIES AND TOASTED SANDWICH MAKERS!!!! NNNAAARRRGGHHHH!!! NNNAAARRRGGHHHH!!!!
Cheese is ESSENTIAL. But... chicken works great, ham works great, pulled pork works great, left-over sliced-up sausage works great, tuna is AMAZING....
I... I don't have a toastie maker currently...
I'm sad, all the time....

I too lack a toastie maker as I have been forgetting to buy one for 9 years.
The only toasties are:
1: Cheese. 2: Cheese with the very thin reformed ham. Not chunks of real ham. They give me the boak.
That is all.

Though cheese on toast must not be confused with a cheese toastie.
