Got the series from my In-Laws for Xmas. People who say Doctor Who is hard to explain have never had to explain Sapphire and Steel.
Currently watching Assignment 3, one of the few I've not watched.

There’s some creepy bits and the most SF. But it also had a lot of farting about on a rooftop while David McCallum does his ‘man in a box’ mime routine... and a clearly fake bird.
It’s more delightful when David Collins turns up as Silver and just proceeds to wind Steel up.
