Guys, I'm suspicious of this seller. The gate man knew of the sanctity of Safety Prime, yet this seller, who claims to be an expert does not. I fear something dark is going on

Your eyes study the main display behind him. It's like the Prowl shrine you always dreamed would be yours; from a Diaclone Fairlady Police in box, Beast Wars owl figure, Animated Samurai Armour Prowl and a whole host more. Every conceivable official mould, variant and even some obscure paraphernalia lies before you. Prowl's glorious head crests beaming at you from across the stall from all angles, it's all a little too much for you to take and you pass out.
You awake in a darkened room, remembering flashes of consciousness; being dragged and lifted somewhere, muffled voices within some kind of bright laboratory and then a nightmarish visage of some kind, black carapaces, hissing and crawling. Your recollection is all too fuzzy to make anything distinct out. You try to move but you're restrained to the wall by some kind of tough structure. As your eyes adjust you see it almost looks organic in nature, like some kind of secreted resin, now hardened to keep you in place. But for what purpose?
You survey your surroundings, the walls are definitely man made, strong looking metal, A sealed robust door lies across the room, a surveillance camera above it and no windows that you can make out. In front of you some kind of leathery egg with a cross on its top, almost translucent at its side. You see something twitch inside as if becoming aware of your presence. Struggling to get free the top of the egg suddenly folds open on four sides as something seems to tense inside. You stretch your head as high as you can out of curiosity to see if you can make out what's inside. Then something leaps at your face so fast you don't even have time to scream let alone process what is happening. Its long tail wrapping around your neck and long bony legs pulling itself around your head tightly. The last thing you remember before blacking out is what can only be described as smothering.
You awake some time later, but you're not entirely sure how long. Whatever it was that attacked you has now detached itself and is no where to be seen. Again you struggle to get free, but can't quite do so. Time passes with you calling for help until you're hoarse... It's a futile struggle, no one comes to your aid.
Then the pain starts. What begins with a slight cramp followed by a cough soon becomes searing pain as something inside you starts moving and ripping at the inside of your chest with tiny metallic teeth. You start convulsing as the pain becomes unbearable as your ribs explode outwards, a creature being born from your death.
GAME OVER Final Score: 34/250 RELOADING FROM SAVE POINT LOADING COMPLETE You seem to be in some kind of dirty security clearance area. There's a long queue towards a security check gate where they even seem to be performing X-Rays of people. Scattered around there is something of a middle eastern bazaar. Several people in various attires grouped around many different stalls, all selling and buying various wares. Of them a few catch your eye, one selling toys, clothing, knock off sunglasses and of course several of various delicious smelling international cuisines.
A security guard approaches you and directs you to the vehicle parking area.

It is an odd death, you're right. Almost like Stom had a pre-prepared death description he wanted to fit into this section because it has some useful info in, but because we've done alright so far hasn't been able to...
So we pass out and end up being experimented on. Was the toy seller part of that? He seemed to be on our side until we pissed him off with the Safety Prime request.

It's alarming there might be Alien-friendly agents... Alien experimenters... And also the toy seller clearly knows Safety Prime isn't a Pure Prowl. |

Mind you, it's probably also true that Shockprowl would pass out if he saw every Prowl ever in one place at the same time. Someone just capitalised on our unconscious body. The game has categorised the toy seller as reputable though. It would be odd if he was a body snatcher.
Safety Prime though is no more a Prowl than Bluestreak is.

I just want to get back to where we were. We've lost a whole evening. I was hoping to see if the gate guard really does want a Prowl tonight.
We need to park, ask to see Shades, sell the bike, offer the clothes seller 4SP for the poncho and sombrero, wear them. Of everything we did I think that's all that is essential to earn the points. Then we can barter for a Prowl and redo the bit with the queue and the gate guard.

Anyway - the server guys have revamped the save/load system. You can now load from any previous progress state by using the index from the first post. Fortunately the system had been backing all these up as we went along, so they've been reinstated as save points ready for use. |
