IT'S OK!
He's... like... half a head shorter than Prime and Megatron. Just a smidge shorter. Which I think is ok. Shockwave's quite slender. He looks spot on next to Prime, but somehow Megatron looks much bulkier. It's ok though.
Phew that's a relief! Oh man... got a bit tense there for a minute...

His hyperdetailing is, well, HYPER! But it works. He looks AMAZING. SUCCULENT. His shade of purple is deep, and rich. The plastic feels SUPERB. And his head/face is truly beautiful. As beautiful as one-eyed evil robots can be...

The octopussy parts are crap. It just looks daft in robot mode. The extra arms kinda, I dunno, creep me out. Spaceship needs the extra pieces ideally, to look full spaceship, but one can get a usable space-brick without them. The sled mode that the parts can make is more fun. He can fly about on it. Almost like the Green Goblin or something.
Overall, he is well made. Solid. And he just looks GORGEOUS. I Do wish he wasn't quite as... slender... Megatron in particular out bulks him. It's ok, it just about works, but... well, this Shockwave is barely a voyager. Leader class my arse. Previous voyagers, like CW Motormaster clearly look like they're from a different size aesthetic.

....A FEW DAYS PASS....
So, still really enjoying him. He looks so good. But I have officially decided he is a tad too small. He is a head shorter than the two VOYAGERS I have from Siege, on less feverish inspection. A LEADER being smaller than VOYAGERS. And he's less bulky. Particularly next to Megatron. He just looks too slender. It is -Just About- ok, in my mind's eye. Because he looks so good. But I wish he was the same height/bulk as Megatron.
Lots of fun with Space-brick mode. Trying out different configurations, sans the creepy extra arms.

I think there's scope with him for 3P to redo his legs, or his feet. It wouldn't surprise me to see an add-on kit that gives him a little extra height. As is, he does look like he's in Sunbow scale like the MP one was compared to Megatron.
