Since it thus can't go in a catalogue poll, it's gone in the catalogue poll extras thread. My logic is sound even if Burns' sanity isn't. |

I'm voting no, because there is no way any court in England would imprison or impose a fine for what Phil has done. (I've never studied law of course.)
But that would be fun to see happen. (Not Phil in prison, but the court scene itself, with lawyers looking very confused!)

(Not Phil in prison, but the court scene itself, with lawyers looking very confused!) Surely the ultimate authority on this matter would be Andu? It is illegal. It should be about catalogues, not invented catalogues Phil has made up in his head. Otherwise it is just a toy poll.
Where are the real extra catalogue polls? I want to vote on Digital Doom on the Highway to Destruction or whatever. Or that SAVE OPTIMUS PRIME team thing.
I'm not saying Phil should go to jail for 40 years. Maybe 35.

Indeed, the poll is extra-catalogue - as in "outside of the catalogue", and as the Combi-cassette Warriors exist outside of any catalogues, then that encompasses them.
Also, the poll cannot be illegal as there is no legislation in this jurisdiction covering how such polls are to be conducted. Something which is not covered by the legal system cannot therefore be illegal. (It cannot even be an outlaw poll, as a declaration of outlawry would require - firstly - the exercise of vested royal authority - and secondly - that the thing to be placed outside of the law had initially existed within it.)
