It's ten prints. They're shown here on TFW: IDW Package Art LithographsThey look great, it's a good idea, but they've made a real mess of the presentation. Slapping different characters together just to fit them on the card. And why use half of the '84 box art? it looks terrible like that. If they'd done a full set of all the box backs presented properly it would be an essential purchase, but as it is it just seems like a half finished idea. |

Yes it looks shoddy but it has a print of the Action Masters boxart battle so I must have it. At some point.

Comic shops got it last week. If your local shop doesn't have it in, you can ask if they can order it from Diamond for you using this code: SEP180715 [it was in stock at Diamond UK this morning].
It's $40, so expect to pay around £35-40 for it, depending on the store [more expensive than a regular $40 TPB because it's art prints and therefore VAT comes into play].
The choice of artwork for the prints is definitely odd. Back of box arts would've been a much better choice, and maybe Optimus Prime and Megatron if you wanted to do character art, as they're the most iconic.
Of the character box art they did use, only Prime and Megs have a faint sunburst behind them, the rest are on a darkening coloured grid and don't look very good. They should have all had the sunburst effect. Optimus Prime is the Japanese Convoy artwork, instead of the Hasbro artwork [yes, they are different, I believe the trailerless Walmart reissue is the first time the Hasbro artwork has been used for a reissue, and even that has the Takara artwork on the instruction booklet].
