I mean that’s certainly a thing there. Although I’d much rather that they didn’t adhere quite so closely to the animation model in a couple of obvious aspects.
That said, I’m looking forward to seeing this painted, then looking forward to not paying the inevitable £200 for it.

Of the three MP devisions, clearly the BW and Movie teams have all the best people.
Because these are the ones that are worthy of being called Masterpieces.

That beast mode is by no means perfect, but to be as close as it is, while folding away into that actually perfect robot mode? This might actually be the pinnacle of TF engineering.

Yeah, it's certainly a little bit awkward, but there is the hope that she's still a little mis-transformed in those photos. And being honest, were we ever going to get one that flawlessly and seamlessly turned from one mode into the other? Not likely, given the extreme stylisation of the animation models. So this isn't a deal-breaker for me.
Although, of course, as I have argued before, this means that this is not a true "masterpiece" figure - a proper "masterpiece" would have achieved that. As it is, it's just "a very nice figure". That I will add to my collection.
