I have every confidence this will not be as bad as the Prime Wars Trilogy.

I watched 10 minutes and lapsed into a coma. Will put the rest on later in the background while tidying up.

Is it a "it's that bland" coma, or "i'm too tired to pay attention" coma?

Just bland. Has the same feel as the Go90 shows though looks much better.

It's the voices. Every character sounds the same and speaks with the saaaaammmeee lllloooooowwwww dddrrrrraaaaaswwwwwnnnn ooooutttttt draaaaaaaaawwwll. Sends you to sleep.
Character models are spot on to the toys though. Except Megatron's face. Dunno what's going on there.

Two eps done. Almost asleep. I keep trying to be enthused and keep looking for positives, but it's hard. I can't help but feel WfC/FoC did this better through the games.
Plus side, huge number of characters in it for a show like this. It just needs a bit of life.

I can't get over how boring and dull this is. It is very much a step-up from the Go90 shows but is feels just as dull and lifeless.

Totally.
Found another plus point though, it not only has toy accurate character models but it explains questions that the toys have posed, like Decepticon Mirage, Impactor and why spoiler Magnus is a spoiler. Not that you'd ever tell from the toy.
Makes you wonder with the Netflix toys which way round that came. Did Hasbro give Rooster the toy list, or did Rooster's plot determine the toys.
Three eps done. Need a break. It's soooooo sloooooooooow.

I take...it...back...this is...worse than the....GO90 shows...
It is even more boring! The extra running time is used for...characters...speaking...slowwwwwwwlyyyyy.
Same lack of decent sound design, voice direction and poor acting. Dialogue is atrocious.
It's nice that the characters look just like the toys. The lighting is nice.

Well, the "prime wars trilogy" set the bar on the ground, and retroactively makes Energon look halfway decent. (At least Energon was interestingly bad. The go shows are just torturous)
For me, Prime is the lowest point. Extremely bland writing, decent cast, terribly designs, extremely lackluster animation, and it takes itself way too seriously for how boring it is. TFP had a "TRANZFORMERZ IS SERIOUS BUSINESS PPL!" thing going, and WfC seems like it's that mindset times 10, while wanking off to Livio Ramondelli's muddiest art piece.

Watched it all, well it was on in the background while I was working.
Dull, tedious and tried to grab bits of everything to make something new and guess what, they didn't - just tired old rehashes. Get fucked.

Picks up a bit with episode 4. Things happen.
It's doing so much right, but it's shot itself in the foot with the awful voice acting and glacial pace.

Interesting how Elita-1 and Bumblebee's character models don't have the toy kibble all the others do. Like they were done before the toys were finalised. I also think the Elita toy would be hugely improved by the red lower legs she has in this. Make her look like she's wearing boots instead of shorts.

Second half better than the first. I want to be upbeat about it. I'm not sure how a G1 inspired Transformers series could meet our expectations these days, nothing could ever be what we want it to be, but this at least tries even if it doesn't really succeed. Pity, but there we go.

I kind of did too. It did pick up after a slow start and there were some interesting bits. Yes it's another rehash of the same story, not properly thought through, but it was okaaaaay. ish.
It's hard to explain I suppose. I did quite like the aligned continuity novels too. I guess I like anything that tickles that origin story bone.

I had problems with a couple of vocal choices and functions, for want of a better word, but once the set up was done and it started to get going... yeah. Some interesting choices of direction and how to introduce characters and I was entertained enough.
Streets ahead of Machinima, and I can see myself going back to this.

It's nearly turned me into a Seige toy fan. I was wondering if I could get Shockwave or Soundwave, which would be great if it was out at the same time as the toyline it was promoting.

I also think the Elita toy would be hugely improved by the red lower legs she has in this. Make her look like she's wearing boots instead of shorts. According to David Willis, Elita is an original design created by the show, with hasbro doing their best to turn er arcee into her. So it's not that she was done before the toy was finalized, as much as no toy was even planned. www.polygon.com/animation-cartoons/21347569/transformers-war-for-cybertron-siege-cameos-characters-easter-eggs-autobots-decepticonArticle is to let people who have no knowledge of TF in on the easter eggs. But there are still a couple rare or new tidbits. apparently, the Spoiler Magnus contains no actual spoilers at all
