It's nearly turned me into a Seige toy fan. I was wondering if I could get Shockwave or Soundwave, which would be great if it was out at the same time as the toyline it was promoting. Siege Shockwave and Soundwave are still floating around online. I think they're long gone from Smyths. Soundwave is getting a remould in the W*NC line. -Ralph

{Spoiler}Yeah, regarding the spoiler box, the lack of Micromasters or (more relevantly) Battle Masters struck me as odd.

It just really hammers home that the show is way too late to promote it's own toyline.

I think it's doing a better job than the other recent cartoons. I mean, the actual Netflix toyline is readily available in Smyths. That's not bad in terms of worldwide timing. If this series was an episode a week like in the good old days it may almost stretch as far as wave two coming out.

If people like yourself enjoy the show they can't easily go buy toys of certain characters. More casual fans pulled in by the show will be even more puzzled if they think: "That is cool. I really like Cog. Where is the toy?" -Ralph

Still need to watch the last episode, but generally enjoyed it. I did have to take a break after episode two as it had ground to a halt, but the next three episodes were much improved.
Only thing that really started to annoy me was Primes voice.

I really started getting into the music in the last couple of episodes.

I liked that too. I love sequencer type synth. I would buy a soundtrack album, oddly.

On the two episodes I could endure I thought it was the most banal tv score I had ever heard but to each their own.

I was enjoying the music by the last episode.
Anything that even remotely reminds me of Tron Legacy will do that.
Nothing hugely new, but a decent enough mix of existing ideas. Probably could have been trimmed down by an episode (basically episode two) with very little if anything lost.
Im adding Elita to the list of voices that got a bit annoying. Everyone doing slow speech except Megatron, needs to pck up the pace though.

Yes! I got the Tron feel from the music too.

Just struggled through the first episode, gosh it was dull. At one point I thought it must be about at the end and was amazed to see there were still eight minutes left to sit through.
I will attempt to get through the rest, though I can’t help but feel I have better things to do with my limited viewing time.
Will see how it progresses, but so far I’d say Prime was a much superior show. It had pace, decent voice acting, and the character models weren’t so beholden to the toys. My daughter loved Prime and binged it on Netflix, but tired of this quickly. Can’t help but feel this isn’t going to land well with kids.

Genius. Matt's worked out how to do a Shockprowl and get away with it!

Genius. Matt's worked out how to do a Shockprowl and get away with it! And also how to do acting properly if I need to sound dramatic! I did like the fact that they got Mirage powers correct for the first time in a TV show.
