How do folk like to read The Transformers? Single issues? Trades? Via the Interwurb? Messages from the moon?

I like to read it in single issues, through snazzy yet uncomfortable 3-D specs. It adds nothing to issue, but occasionally the colour clashes give me headaches forcing me to have a lie down.
Having said that, starting with Reign Of Starscream and All Hail Megatron, I'm switching to trades, mostly due to money-saving and general convenience. I will pick up the Revelations Spotlights in singles though, just because it feels right to end the -ations arcs the way I started.

Much the same with you there. The increasing errors in IDW's singles mean I am far less inclined to pick up a monthly in the same fashion as I did. So after the -ations finish it's trades all the way.

I'm with The Rocket, can't wait for Trades. Gotta read it 'as it happens'. Started off in Trades, whilst I was catching up, and I get the none main storyline stories (Origin: Megatron, BW Ascending) as Trades. But the main story line I gotta have asap!

Depends really - my old Marvel stuff is mostly in trades, as I have very few of the single issues.
With the IDW stuff I will be switching to trades after the next batch of Spotlights - I started with single issues at "Stormbringer"#1 so I may as well round out the spotlight run as a convenient exit point. I may pick up future series in trade format - it will depend on how much they appeal to me and what I feel the level of buyers remorse will be (like "Devastation", where I probably wouldn't have bought it in singles if I had foreknowledge of how I would feel about the last two issues.
The Titan comic I will probably continue to pick up in single issues out of sheer inertia. It is a nice novelty to have a regular Transformers comic on newsstands. I have been tempted to skip it on occassion however, given that I am only getting any real value out of the lead strip.

I buy every individual issue and read them when I get them whether they are good or bad. The only problem with this however is that with a story broken up into parts like the -ation series I tend to forget what happened in the previous issue by the time I read the next and so end up reading each issue as individual stories. To make up for this I later on buy the trades and read all of the issues together to fully get a grip on on the story.

TF was one of my last single issue purchases as I've mostly switched over to trades for comics in general but at £2.85 a pop and with increasing amounts of errors I've been getting a bit pissed off with them. So I'm switching to trades for the 'main' series after the Wheelie Spotlight. Skipping any IDW TF Movie stories as no doubt they will be printed in the Titan comic.
Will stick with Titan TF in single issues. The lead strip is decent enough and I like picking up a comic off the newsstand.

What sort of errors are you talking about? Only having about 8 single issues I dont have much knowledge of this sort of thing.

The errors in the BW Profile books are legendary in their high frequency, to the point where a new editor working on the trade version opened up a thread on the IDW boards to catalogue them all so they could be fixed for the trade.
An issue of Devastation had speech bubbles mixed up, as did Spotlight: Ultra Magnus. Spotlight Kup had text missing off a page, Spotlight Ramjet had a word missing from the end of a text box. Spotlight Grimlock had poor spelling, mixed up dialogue boxes and severe pages misaligned so text/art was cut off, Animated Movie #1 had dialogue boxes mixed up.
Taken on their own, I could shrug and think 'mistakes happen' but over time they have increasingly pissed me off and I felt like I was paying £2.85 a pop to beta test products. The problems are usually fixed for the trades. Certainly, the animated movie trade had the problems fixed.
