I don't ever understand the thought process behibd their decisions to constantly do that. And then they usually shortpack the one and only new one on top of that.

I couldn't bring myself to buy Soundbarrier. I just can't cope with the idea of little men being roads. It's too cruel. I thought that until Kris Carter made Soundbarrier into an unlikely star. Now I think I must have one. Should anyone spot a singular one online...

I couldn't bring myself to buy Soundbarrier. I just can't cope with the idea of little men being roads. It's too cruel. I thought that until Kris Carter made Soundbarrier into an unlikely star. Now I think I must have one. Exactly the same here, damn and blast his cartoons. I almost ordered a Soundbarrier yesterday, but ended up ordering Jetfire instead. I'm sure I'll find Soundbarrier in FP or somewhere when non-essential shops become a thing again... And Rung, hurrah! Although... I already ordered one from eBay Japan a couple of weeks back on the day they had a £5 off any order deal, which worked out quite cheap. But on the off-chance that never arrives I'd also not say no to a Slitherfang either, so it's good to have the option now.

This here Wheeljack is pretty good. Slight QC niggle with mine, couple of small silver paint marks on the forehead. The fins on his head haven't been painted that well. Be nice to clean that up somehow.

This is even tighter than mirage. 2010 and 2020 Wheeljack are both excellent. Can't decide who's king. Who goes in the display? I can't tell. Maybe Earthrise looks better with the other newer figures, but 2010 is such a magnificent figure.

Both are great, but I think earthrise wins for me because it was intended to be wheeljack from the start, while 2010 was still obviously intended to be Tracks.
So 2010 is being repurposed as Energon Downshift.

But when will we get a Slicer from one?

Post by Pinwig on Apr 19, 2020 0:06:56 GMT
Slicer would be more relevant and interesting for Selects than Exhaust. Wonder if the paint job was too complex.

Hasbro doesn't have the ability to trademak Slicer anymore. The last (and only) go was called Decepticon Slice, which isn't particularly good.
They also don't have a particularly strong history with the Marlboor redecoes. That's always been more a Takara thing.
Therefore it's very possible this is Slicer with a new name.

An unexpected, non-'84/'85 repaint that isn't what most people were probably hoping for? I mean, that doesn't sound unlikely actually...

Indecision! I know what you mean, buddy. It's a toughie, but Earthrise does it for me. Close enough to Siegeness, goes well. Hey, give him the Generations one's big gun. It works really well.

Earthrise definitely needs 3P shoulder rockets. He's got mounting holes for them because of the piddly one he comes with.

The one he comes with is piddly. But stick that on his shoulder, and give him now predecessor's, and it's starting to look ok.
Do you find him -slighy- smaller that the Siege deluxes? Just a smidge... overall.

I have not had any new Earthrise toys. I must find a way of rectifying this.
Oh, wait, those micromasters were Earthrise, weren’t they?
I should get a bigger one, to be sure.
