I see buried in the press release is that the main series is "now shipping monthly" so I presume this now takes what was the 2nd slot each for that. So still 2 TF comics a month: just now an issue of this and an issue of the other series.

I am unsure how six robots can build and design the entire planet. I fear TF comics have been infected with the 'small cast do everything' mentality of other prominent Sci fi franchises.

I read #1. Passable but dull. It failed as a first issue as I am not sure from it what the premise of the series is other than something about the Constructicons.
Perfectly readable and not bad as such but it just did nothing for me. A tad boring.

Lots of hate for Livio if you look at USA sites. Why the hate for Livio? I'm buying this purely for his artwork (bailing when the next arc starts). Only discovered him through the Hachette Definitive Collection reprints of his earlier stuff - he's a real find. Adore his work. IDW are lucky to have him - I'm sure one of the bigger companies would happily snap him up if he became available. |

I too enjoy his work a lot. Would love to see him on ABC Warriors. I only dropped TF: Galaxies as the story did nowt for me. Art was fine.
