If we put a PROPER scale onto Pinwig's chart and remove the deceptive drop-shadow, we get a totally different picture! See how Pinwig tries to mislead us! The PINWIGYARD is trying to hide the truth from this sage council of time lords!!!!

It hasn't stalled, it's going backwards, and you can't see that from your graph.
Unicron reversing. Can planets reverse? I must ask Brian Cox to gaze wistfully into the night sky and ponder the question.

This news is interesting because it almost condones 3P activity. If Hasbro have the ability to take down a 3P toy that fast, why haven't they done it before?

Perhaps because Zeta directly imperils an official product's chance of going into production via crowdfunding.

I have been pondering this also. It really is unprecedented. I can only agree with Doc' that because it impacts on a such a prestigious figure that Hasbro clearly must have fund, that they choose to take action. But yes, the speed of it was stunning! There have been rival 3P figures in direct competition with Official figures before, with no action taken whatsoever. Unicron is very important to Hasbro. The Great Experiment.

It’s not unprecedented, they also took down Toyworlds Prime from the bee movie pretty sharpish. If it infringed on something current, it goes away.

I'm not sure that's true - the difference here is the crowdfunding aspect for sure. Hasbro are doing MP44 in the US aren't they? But they didn't stop the Magic Square or Transform Element Primes that were launched just as MP44 was revealed.

I think the crowdfunding aspect is key. Why let someone steal your IP to put out a product which can directly result in you not getting enough orders to make your own? Hasbro has shareholders to answer to.
It's also really bad manners to put a 3p Unicron out at this time. A poor show.

To be fair, xeta had the unicron first, having started to tease it long before anyone knew anything about hasbro's overpriced giant.
But I agree, it's likely due to people cancelling their haslab orders, and those like me who prefer the cheaper smaller sized one.

And also the fact that Zeta's one looks like it transforms properly rather than just all the panels stacking at the side of the legs (though how stable and fragile Zeta's is as a result is to be seen!)
