Also Loki season 2 has been brilliant. Went in a completely different direction from the cliffhanger than I expected. (and also from what was intended it seems)
And it's been giving a second weekly dose of Lt Rutherford. The expanded roles of all the supporting cast has been its biggest strength.
Slyvies mullet is the only real negative.

How to solve a Major problem - shoot a scene in a series that doesn't show the full actors, just hands & hear voices.
Back story - Kang decides to hide himself instead of everyone knowing what he looks like. So he jumps to a future Spiderman film & steals the Chameleon belt device & gives to Kang in past to clone it & give to all other Kangs. Then we can have anyone playing the character. Then in a future Spiderman Sinister Six film we see Chameleon say he had his device stolen. This could be 20 years from now

I don't see what the problem is. If they can recast Bruce Banner and James Rhodes between films, why can't they just recast Kang and tell the audience to get over it like they did with those two?

I agree. As pointed out, it's not like recasting is unheard of to Marvel. Add to that, Kang is one of the few characters they can do it in story, too.

Another way Marvel could sort everything out & make it make sense.
With just one name - Galactus
All the multi verse time stuff moved across the universe where Galactus is. This effecting his hunger. People disappering so he can't feed on them. So he sends Terrax to stop Thanos at the end of Avengers 3. Arrives on Earth & stop Thanos attacking Vision. This meaning Black Widow doesnt get killed - End games doesnt happen. No one missing for 5 years. Loki doesn't go missing at differnt end of Avngers 1. Gamora is dead but they arent doing any more GOTG team films?
But the Fantastic Four arrive following Terrax & stop Galactus crossing over into the MCU.

And that is why Multiverse/time travel stuff is insufferable. Any solution just always feels like a deus ex machina way out.

That bit with SIlver Surfer only letting Galactus feed on worlds with less lifeforms on it could show that he gets more when its a full planet.

Rewatched Hawkeye over a couple of nights for something festive and enjoyed it a lot. Definitely stands up to a second viewing and I can see it become a Christmas favourite. The only thing I didn't like was there were a couple of unnecessarily violent moments that mean I will have to wait quite a bit longer to watch it with my sons.

Watched a review of Marvels after watching Dr WHo water on BBC site. Review states character Binary never appeared in comics or media until 2020. Apart from Carol Danvers Ms Marvel was Binary - Uncanny X-men #164 Dec1982. White & red suit

Just finished Echo. Its not perfect, but it does a lot right and works as a blend of the MCU and Netflix shows. Spoiler The first episode is a little odd.
In order to make the show as self contained as possible they end up retelling a Chunk of Hawkeye from Mayas perspective, this absolutely neccesary for any newcomers, but a bit too much for anyone who has seen Hawkeye recently.
Its literally a recap with new footage that runs too long for a recap and too incomplete to be a self contained flashback.
But its better there than leaving new viewers completely lost. And the new bits are cool.
After that its solid. Cast is good and story works.

I've completely lost all track of the MCU. Wake up when they do the Fantastic Four or THE SENTRY.

I genuinely think a Sentry adaptation of the original limited series could be great! It felt quite cinematic in the first place and strikes a good balance between shared universe and a self contained story.

It's just folk talking bollocks online who haven't watched it.
It is a non-pun and non-fun film.

I also recently watched Venom 2. Objectively, it's not a good film but it was entertaining (the symbiote banter is great) and got in and out in just under 90 mins screen time.
Not every comic book film needs to be 2 hours plus.

Morbius does say "You won't like me when I'm hungry," which is what Bruce Banner says by mistake in a foreign language in MCU's The Incredible Hulk. Of which the Morbius film is a fairly close copy story-wise.

Finally able to rewatch The Marvels now that its on D+ (I'll grab the BD or 4K this week). Its the first MCU film in a long while that Ive really wanted to see again so quickly.
On second viewing (or third, did I see it twice at cinema?) I think I might have enjoyed it even more. Its just a fun film. It does fun things. I have fun watching it. I do not understand any of the criticism.

Watching The Marvels tonight now we have reconquered the living room and got the big telly back. I'm really enjoying this, but I can feel the strain on Mrs P who isn't quite as embedded in the backstory. It's fun, but there are a lot of dense, quickly spoken conversations that patch the story together and you need to be really on the ball to follow them. I don't think this is as accessible as most Marvel films because so much of it is a product of other narratives. It isn't even the Monica/Kamala backstory from the TV shows, it's more the 'lots of people fighting and rushing about being very serious about something that sounds important but it's significance hasn't been properly explained', which might be because it was mentioned in another film a few years ago but could also just be that we're just supposed to accept it.
