Well, making the claws out of the arms, Nauti was gonna either have wrong color arms, or wrong color claws. It's a no-win situation. However, there's a whole mess of grey on the original's back, that's missing on the new one that would have helped TONS.
I'm less personally troubled by the color of the underside of Seawing's wings, than I am a lack of a tail.
I was originally against terrorcon retools, because the seacons transform upside down, compared to almost all other beastformers. And to me, that made some really unique looks for them, particularly with other scrambles. And if there were changes made to their designs, I wanted to see those changes focus on what's different about them. Such as turning Overbite and Skalor's legs around where the beast heads make up the feet. And I always thought that terrorcon retools would just look like poor stand-ins. But like I said, I'm really glad to be wrong. They're not great one-to-one updates like the terrorcons were to their originals, but they still feel different from the terrorcons, and they manage to feel like the seacons.

Seawing has a tail, Cutthroat's, it's just not too visible. Best pic is on the front of the forearm in arm mode

They're still on TFSExpress. I'm going there if Kapow don't put the first two up soon. I would hope that when Kapow put these images on their facebook they'll have to answer the inevitable question about why the first two haven't been put up for pre-order.

I think I'd have been happier if the blues matched, but it isn't a deal breaker.

Good point. Ooh. That's a bit worrying. I wonder where ID were getting theirs.
It's also true these aren't out until January, Kapow may not see it as a priority.

Dezzeh got in there too, but they replied to someone else asking the same question. Yes they will have them all for preorder but they aren't putting them up yet because they're not out until Jan and the pound is too unstable at the moment to price them accurately.
Boris Johnson stole our Seacons.

If they're taking that line, and InDemand go the same way, I might turn to Robotkingdom and risk the poker.
Some sort of public proclamation sooner might have been useful.
It's also potentially illustrative on their thinking on other matters, especially Hasbro UK

Boris Johnson stole our Seacons. One of many acts for which the self-styled clown will not be forgiven. Should the pound ever recover - and who knows, after last night's shining performance by the Eton Mess, maybe it will - then I will have my Seacons. But not before...

The more Johnson got thumped last night the higher sterling climbed.
Spooky.

I'd wager they've got a bigger potential market for Seacons though than they do Diaclone, which means they know they're going to need to pre-order a lot of Seacons, but also that they know they'll need to shift them all on. Those Diaclone sets are also generally more expensive anyway, but collectors are used to paying that price; Select Series or not, Kapow also know that TF collectors know how much CW-style limbs and torsos should be, and they're probably worried they wouldn't be able to shift them all if they were too pricey.
And they won't be able to shift them if the pound suddenly springs back up (unlikely, but you never know) and the Seacons become cheaper from elsewhere. If Kapow can't drop their own prices for whatever reasons, then they'd stand to lose money on the stock they've already pre-ordered, but which would then be taking up warehouse space. So it makes sense that they'd be waiting.

Shall we say there's been some issue with which Diaclone products they've stocked and which they haven't?

Not following Diaclone, I have no idea what issues there are there.
