The Last Crusade was a prequel, DK2, DKIII - The Master Race so the third sequel.

I still haven't read the prequel or DKIII.
DKII was so bad it put me off reading any more follow-ups.

Love DKR, love DK2 as well. Last Crusade is good and The Master Race is alright.

I thought the first one was shite to be honest. It's very much of its time. It doesn't hold up for me now but had a very strong effect on younger Ralph when it came out. It blew my mind at the time. I have residual affection for it but I do feel it has dated rather badly. In context of its time it was great though. -Ralph |
