Anyone capable of rebalancing the colours on the base mode picture so it matches the other modes?

I want to love this, and I kind of do, but there's one big disappointment here for me, as there have been with the other base modes: No actual play features! Ramps, yes, but launcher to shoot the car down the ramp with! These things should be easy, but I guess that Hasbro's forgotten that these are still actual toys. And the little scorpion legs won't be moving, either - that was one of the best things about the original!
And whilst that latter could necessarily not be a problem, the other part of how Hasbro's chosen to deal with them is. On seeing just how small the little seat that mini-Zarak fits into is I was wondering what else was contained within Scorponok's torso, because it's pretty bulky. Was it home to some cavernous play feature for base mode? No. It's where the legs fold into to give him cartoon accuracy. And that's disappointing. But ah well - I wasn't expecting much more than this, really.
But he does look nice, and I do like double-headmaster feature, so... I'll be buying him anyway. But with reservations.

I have visions of Andu surrounded by bottles in a pub as he cuddles his Scorponok and yells lines from The Rebirth.

Yeah that's gonna be difficult to resist. Unless they also announce a Black Zarak repaint. But I'm not holding out hope for that...

Yeah that's gonna be difficult to resist. Unless they also announce a Black Zarak repaint. But I'm not holding out hope for that... That might come down to how many Takara think they can shift - given they are doing their own Select releases like the Seacons, it's possible. And as Phil pointed out, Fasttrack seems to have been made with a spear mode in readiness.

That proves nothing! Just that it's a nice little homage. That's all it is. Yes, my pennies, yes. You are safe. Safe...

Big head aside, Skorponok looks great. Compared him to my old G1 version and it's looking kinda tired. Badly needed an updated figure. And Fasttrack looks AMAZING. Really happy to see him release in the same year as his Titanic, erm, Master!
Do we think Skorpy represents the last of the Titan class releases for Hasbro, then? I mean, he's the last city-bot. I know they sneaked Omega in but there aren't really any big chaps left other than repaints, which have limited appeal.
