I never quite 'got' Good Omens' I must admit. Maybe I need to re-read it at some point

It's nowhere near as amusing as his solo work. It's a touch drier with it's wit than most Pratchett, once I got used to that I enjoyed it.

Couldn't get past episode 1. Far too forced tonally. The BBC radio version is much better though still not my cup of tea. The source material just isn't very good, unlike Sir Terry's solo works!

You have not made it passed episode 1 of a number of shows where they have improved dramatically after a rocky start.

Picard hasn't started yet so we have no idea if it has a rocky start.
My free time is very limited and I don't watch much TV. If a show doesn't grab me on the first episode I'm not going to waste any more time on it.
