The absence of murder Prime makes me think it's not the TF G2 or movie universe either... That would be a very short crossover!

I won't be touching this well unless Nick Roche does a cover.

First IDWTF comic I've bought since MTMTE/LL finished.
Jack's art is absolutely perfect. It's spot on - the ponies look just like (what I've seen of) the cartoon and Arcee is the best I've seen her (reminds me a bit of the Legends comic strips). Hopefully he will be drawing all the series from now on.
But the rest of the issue was awful in my opinion. Not funny or clever enough - can't they just get Blueshift to write this and Jack to draw?
Will see what my daughter thinks of it. But still glad I bought it for the art in the second strip.

I rather enjoyed this series, it was fun. I just read the first issue of the second series. I like how it defies expectations by plucking and mixing characters from different generations.

I admit that I like that the writers know that the fans are going to be more interested in the characters interacting than an actual story, so I do like the 'short-vignette' format with a plot woven through it. It also looks like we're getting more 'Deep-cut' characters outside of the Mane Six in the second series.
