Siege has dreadful kibble round the lower arms. The vehicle mode is a mess. And no trailer. Trailer is crap and most Primes don't have one anyway. Siege vehicle mode is nice and chunky. Kibble is not bad: there's really not much of it: Classics Prime had far worse arm kibble (and no trailer either). Robot can fully rotate at waist: ER one cannot fully rotate as the back wheels get in the way. ER is an ok toy. It's fine. Siege is a superb toy. ER is mid-league/upper bottom league (though it works so much better as Dead Prime). Siege Prime is easily in my top 5 Optimii. Alas I do not have funds for the spoiler pack Nemesis one. Hopefully I can get one next year. -Ralph

Siege has dreadful kibble round the lower arms. The vehicle mode is a mess. And no trailer. Trailer is crap and most Primes don't have one earlier. No it isn't and most Primes are lacking missing one. Vehicle mode is nice and chunky. It's close to the original Prime cab with lots of extra detail that wrecks it, notably the stuff over the roof which becomes a useless backpack for the robot! It's not Cybertronian enough and it's not Earthmode enough. Kibble is not bad: there's really not much of it: Classics Prime had far worse arm kibble. It does, but it's not pretending to be that close to an 84 Prime robot as Siege is. The arm kibble is a massive distraction for me, Robot can fully rotate at waist: ER one cannot fully rotate as the back wheels get in the way. Not sure I've tried the waist on either. ER is an ok toy. Siege is a superb toy. We will have to differ on this point. Siege is infuriatingly close but not close enough.

I just...don't think ER Prime is that great. It works with the amazing Dead Prime colour scheme and there the trailer becomes useful as a coffin.
The regular ER Prime just isn't a very good toy or a very good Optimus. I love the Siege Optimus. Such fun to play with.
I hadn't properly fiddled with regular ER Prime until this evening and I wasn't that impressed by it.

Hang on. Hang on. I can respect Phil liking the robot...but the trailer? Really? Mount your defence!
The 84 Prime had a SUPERB trailer. This one...is not.

It's an interesting question. I've often looked at the pair together and I see positives on both sides, but I think Earthrise wins. Siege is better proportioned but the kibble is off-putting when ER doesn't have any.

Man, those front wheels on ER Prime are cheap crap. What were they thinking? The back wheels are fine!
The more I fiddle with this the more this toy annoys me. The way it can't turn much at the waist!
The trailer has no play value and feels Poundlandish.
The gorgeous Dead Prime colours blinded me to the crapness of this mould. I can see me keeping that and getting shot of the regular ER one.

The blue on Netflix Prime is very tempting. Phil, is the paint finish the same as the original, just a different colour? Netflix stuff has had a premium finish so far, is the Prime different?
