*If* those character models are close to the toys then 'Bee's clearly just a retool of Cliffjumper. But who's Elita a retool of? I'd initially suspect the Chromia mold, although her "wings" don't fit, so maybe Arcee? Given a lot of the vehicle mode is on a removable backpack it would be easier to create the wing effect by modifying that... |

Unless they are taking wild ("BW Season 1" style liberties with the animation model designs, then Bumblebee is not Cliffjumper. They share no details (unlike Ultra Magnus who's full of the same details as the toy).
We know a new mold Bumblebee will turn up eventually, and soon. Hasbro, from the start has sworn CJ will not be retooled into Bumblebee.
And again, unless wild liberties are being taken, Elita 1 lacks Chromia's leg kibble.

Bumblebee will, of course, not be flying-saucer Bumblebee from Arrival From Cybetron, because of course he won't. Just another Cliffjumper remold, I guess?

Red Alert could also be Battle Damaged or they could throw the toy fans a bone with a black headed version. It's worty noting Siege has black hands when they should be red..... I am sure Red Alert will be battle damaged rather than anything more interesting.
I am also 100% sure W*NC Wave 2 will be a pain to get after the wave 1 debacle over here.
Also amazed that Impactor now is a character who gets multiple retail releases again! It would be great if this was a zombie version, but it won't be.
I will eat my socks if Bumblebee turns into his MTMTE saucer mode.

Thanks to Duff's toys I have the Netflix Magnus and Mirage sets. Mirage: Lovely Deco, but isn't quite screaming Decepticon Mirage at me. It is a nice redeco, even though Powered Magnus would be better.
As 16bit.com pointed out it is packaging made for the internet, not the shop floor.

Weird year this. Weird. Under usual circumstances Arcee might have been out by now so maybe it's possible to think that she could be Elita1, but unless it is covid related I can't see why Hasbro would let out new moulds in a repaint line before they've been in their own retail waves. Doesn't feel right. Netflix W1 was all old moulds several waves behind - this time figures like Red Alert feel in the right place, but Bumblebee has to at least be a new head and he isn't going to be in the retail line at this rate until December at the earliest if he's wave 4.
Little of this makes sense!

That's still only a couple of months behind Earthrise w2 and the way things are probably about the same time as w3. But then we have ended up with the same moulds on the same shelves in Siege and Netflix colours, so who knows.

Yeah yesterday I saw both hounds and two of the three megatrons (cell shaded and netflix) sitting next to each other.
I don't think what molds are out concerns them if the same toys in nearly identical decoes sit side by side.

Red Alert especially disappointing as there were options there. Elita-1 looks too much like Arcee, colours are far too similar. BB looks fab. LOTS of new parts. Mainline release? Op is .... surprising. Earthrise Earthmode cab? Have they shown this with the wrong Op? I can see Anoraxe (yellow pteraxodon) as the axe Op uses in the dual but WHERE'S THE SWOOP RECOLOURS OF THAT!!!! Shelldron is our first Rampmaster recolour. Soundwave: Mystery solved. We'd been wondering where the Siege retool went ever since we first saw it.
