Can't see an awful lot of difference between the Netflix Prime and the Earthrise one. The windows seem to be grey instead of blue, but given Netflix has ridden on the premium paint ticket, it doesn't look like there's much going on.

With 63 deco ops, this series-inspired figure brings fans the most detailed and series-accurate version of the character. Nemesis Prime converts to vehicle mode in 34 steps, while the included Battle Masters Sliterfang figure converts to weapon mode in 6 steps. You may recognise the bonus weapons.... So, before we forget for next time, how did the steps thing play out here? The bbts listing says 34 steps but is that what Prime was? We couldn't match the steps to an existing toy, yet this is the same Prime.

It's not, it's the Siege Voyager Prime with the Earthrise Trailer and 3 of the POTP Nemesis Prime Bonus Weapons. Been trying to find the number of steps for Siege Prime all evening Add a couple more for the trailer and adding weapons? |

Hmmmm. Not impressed with Nemesis Prime. Having got dead prime the main justification for the leader class price point is the complexity of the torso transformation. This is a voyager, a ramp and £10 worth of trailer for £60.
But then Red Slitherfang and as Jetty said G2 trailer.
Prime and Soundwave looked like good buys, though I wish I didn't already have Laserbeak and Ravage. They aren't that great and I dont want to buy asecond set of them.

Thats a £24 voyager plus a £23 trailer standing in for a £47 leader class Optimus. Even if the rest of the package justifies the additional £13 you are still paying £23 for that trailer. Remoulded Laserbeak and Ravage help a bit. but the heads werent the problem with them really. |

And until they do, just putting G2 faction symbols over it will be good enough for me. I am very much already considering buying a nonnif set for this trailer before they sell out. |

Trailer accidentally being G2 aside, it is an obnoxiously boring and uninspired deco.
Nemesis Primes aren't usually known for being very creative redecos, but this one just didn't even try.
They could have done SG Optimus deco. Universe 1 Nemesis deco (not actually black). Armada Nemesis deco (also not actually black). Black Convoy/Scourge deco.
Or, I dunno... something new?
I want that trailer though. Badly. I've thrown in a preorder to be safe, but may cancel. Also may look for someone who wants Nemesis and the bits but not the trailer, to split the cost.
They're really gonna make me shell out for my G2 Optimus, though. $60 for the trailer, plus $40 for the optimus, unless I wanna risk it and hope I find them marked down.
Which...y'know... I won't.
Unless I spend $100 +nonnif upgrade set cost +reprolabel upgrade set cost... Then I'll find them both a month later for thirty bucks total.

I agree. The more I look at Nemesis he seems really washed out and peely wally. Dead Prime is crisp and clear.
