It's Netflix. They haven't gone to the Earthmode bodies in that, so it's gonna be Siege molds all the way.

No. When you said netflix hasn't been in earth modes thus the toys won't, you did specify "only spoiler sets." It's Netflix. They haven't gone to the Earthmode bodies in that, so it's gonna be Siege molds all the way. Then when I reminded you there are three earth mode toys, you changed (fair enough if you forgot to specify), but when I said Optimus was ER, you said he was from the seige mold. Yeah, but not in the Spoiler box. Prime was the Siege one. Optimus is in fact Earthrise. To date, Optimus has never been in the netflix line as anything but the ER mold. There are three earth mode toys (five adding the cassettes) in the Netflix line. There's no reason to believe this trend will or will not continue, even for the spoiler sets. |

But even so there's no reason to believe the third one would use a seige mold exclusively on the fact the other two did.

Sure there is. 'Spoiler' implies that it's connected to the plot. The show isn't going to be giving them new bodies at this point. So it's more likely that any Spoiler set will use a Cybertronian body type.
Spoiler 1: Magnus with darkening colours = Magnus dies
Spoiler 2: Nemesis deco on Optimus = Optimus has a vision of a dark future where he is Nemesis.

Not exclusively. My secondary evidence was that the show hasn't used anything but Siege molds for it's main cast. And the spoiler box is explicitly focused on the show.
I dunno, it's just speculation.

I wonder what chance there is of them doing all the Fossils in clear versions. The repaint options for those moulds seem limited, so a second set of the same in clear would be a bit good. They're be like the Jewel Lords.

well. So far it seems like the fossilizers are modeled after the types of rock the fossels either are found in (Paleotrex) or actually are (the opalized Ractonite).
Even though fossils are not actually amber, I want to see one made up to look like amber, or looks like it's incased in amber.
And if we venture into the premise of the show, then I'd love to see one in green, as though it's energon.

This was debunked as being a fake, so it's still possible that Crystallux will be in the spoiler pack as originally thought. It does, however, give us a nice look at the figure, and confirms that I want this version more than the Paleotrex. Glad it's a fake though, simply because that gives me one less reason to be annoyed that I chose to move Jo to Scotland rather than moving myself to Singapore. Now all I have to be annoyed about is how they regularly have more Transformers on the shelves and a much better grip on the Covid situation... |
