(Where are JW just went full movie monsters. Not a single one even behaved like an animal would) They address that in JW when they talk about need to appeal to customer expectations and engineered the animals that way, missing feathers, oversized etc.

No amount of genetic manipulation will make an animal dive through lava just to try to bite humans (baryonyx did this after chasing them underground). Or stop running from an exploding volcano to in order to try to eat people (Carnotaurus did this multiple times).
And that abomination rex thing in the first one was designed by people who have no understanding of biology, or else it would have muscles in it's head instead of a skull with skin. If that was genetic manipulation, it would not live. The "i-rex" and "i-raptor" things would be incapable of living the way the artists designed their bodies.
You have no idea how much I hate that line and how often awesomebros like to throw it in my face as if it's some excuse for truly terrible designs that don't even keep continuity with the previous actually decent films.

They will look as close to the BW show characters as the Siege/Earthrise G1 robots do to Sunbow. We can't expect anything less. Especially not with Hasbro pumping their YouTube channel full of clips from the show currently.

It looks nice but I think I'll hold out to the repaint. The first Generations version is more interesting.

I like the look of the tank. The robot is the most accurate we've had to the original too. Like the recent Fans Toys one, it suffers from trying to be too Sunbow, which means it doesn't try and hide the kibble on the forearms or the feet. But as Warpath goes, this obviously won't be as good a toy as the Generations one but it'll probably look better in the current display. As Slammer is rumoured for retail I reckon he'll be a hefty remould like Trailbreaker is. If he was going to be a straight repaint he'd be in Selects with another accessory pack.

Which means Kindgom's first wave were numbered before the recent Selects F0854-F0857 (Cordon, Sandstorm, Ratchet and Tigertrack). Would account for why these are leaking out, they must have been around for a while.

The more I see it, the less I like the barrel in robot mode. I know it's both show and toy accurate, but where as it worked on the original toy, it just doesn't for me on this.

I don't think anyone's going to dispute the amount of scientific improbability of the line... but get this... it's fiction for entertainment. If we can make some of the other suspensions of disbelief the franchise requires, I'm sure we can make this one too.

Yep, you can count me in for that Warpath, even as a fan of the Generations deluxe version.
I have POTP Beachcomber and TR Seaspray right there on the desk next to me. I thought they were as good as we'd get, but now I know if they have this Warpath standing next to them all I'll see will be the lack of ankle tilts, etc. This hobby...

I would be down for a new Seaspray. The TR isn't a bad one, but I'd not qualify it as particularly good.
He would be much improved if they could redo him and drop the minifigure cockpit, and make him bigger so that there's proper room between his head and the fan assembly.

That's exactly where we are with the 84 ones now Cliffjumper's raised the bar. I think Beachcomber will be okay, Cosmos is now very out of style with the others. Still, if any of the five had to be 'the big one', Warpath is probably the most apt.

I wonder if it is true to say that these numbers are applied chronologically as the toys come in to being, or if there's another logic as to how they're used. It would be nice to think putting these all into numerical order tells us the order the toys were made, or designed/completed/passed some kind of production milestone. That way we can gain some vague insight, like the fact Tigertrack *appears* to have been a late addition *possibly* done to fill the hole left by moving Centurion out of Selects.

I quite like that Warpath. Although I'm disappointed that he's not the weaponiser that I'm sure that someone speculated he could be upthread. Just because that would have upset a lot of people. And it would've been kind of cool. But yeah, he looks like a decent, solid figure. The question is to get that, or hold off for the W*NC or Selects repaint..?

(I really wouldn't mind him being much bigger - once I got TR Seaspray I had a Blaster's-Cybertron-crew display for a little while and happily used Generations Warpath in it - it was more about having my favourite updates of those toys together than anything)

There's a comparison in the video - he's half way between Cliffjumper and Wheeljack.

These Weaponisers are called Fossilisers: That looks like the Core Class Raptor, same size as Rattrap, who we expect to be in wave 2!

The head and arms are also on Warpath, so it must be the fossilizer.
