It's almost like a Hearts Of Steel prologue Huffer.

I'm still not convinced by that Huffer. -Ralph No, I'm not either. And it's not just 'cos I don't want to have to start collecting The Six and The Five all over again. Just... not happy with him.

I honestly don't know what else you could ask for outside of an alternate toy based head? I mean he's almost dead on perfect. Hasbro remembered that he's not a shrunken down Optimus Prime, and that there are smaller models tractors than Optimus. He's considerably smaller than other deluxes but looks like he's worth the price (unlike Cliffjumper), but still maintains a realistically scaled vehicle (unlike Cliffjumper). He's about as faithful an update as it gets, and he can tow Optimus's trailer to replicate that otherwise forgettable five second scene that one time.
He's also never had a remotely accurate version done of him before.

I can't put my finger on it but it looks more like a 3P thing to me rather than an official toy.

Maybe because we're used to 3P Huffers looking like Huffer, while Hasbro just paints whatever tiny truck they have around orange?

He does look a bit Magic Square. It might be that his robot doesn't have any of the super deformed feel of the original. The proportions suggest a much bigger robot that he is. The cliffjumper mould got away with it because of the feet, but this is not the dumpy little moaner we know. He does look good, I'm in, but he isn't as Sunbow as something like the mechanic studio one.

But personally, I'm liking this. And I think I'm safe in picking it up because I'm fairly sure they'll never do a toy-accurate retool. Not with Pipes to be done as well.

Money on the table there though, Hasbro! I would have double dipped on a POTP Windcharger with toy face.
Which is odd, cuz the 3P MP Windcharger I have does come with one, but the toy is too animation accurate to look right with it...

Yes, just sticking a toy based head on a sunbow type body doesn't always do the trick for me. I always thought I'd display my 3rd party MP Trailbreaker with the toy head because it is just so much more interesting than the block of a head he has in the cartoon. But it just doesn't look right. The same with those new Super 7 Ultimates. And on the new Kingdom Huffer, it's the lower legs I don't really like. That and his 'hood' is more of a backpack. It's still Huffer though!

The same with those new Super 7 Ultimates. Oh absolutely. Optimus Prime, for example, needs also to have that much squarer body with the air-horns (or whatever they are) on top of his chest for the toy head to work properly, too.

He looks -can't believe I'm saying this after all the bitching I do about MPs- but he looks not Sunbow enough. Maybe. Perhaps. Possiblé.

You're right.
I don't think it looks like cartoon, comic or original toy Huffer. It looks like an 'inspired by' 3P thing. Maybe it looks better in-hand.
