Yes, the price point won't stop. It would be nice to think now they've shifted the kind of legends figure that class used to do into being small Deluxes, like Cliffjumper, that they won't go back to putting figures designed to scale with the bigger classes in Core (unless they're ones without an established size already, like Dracodon). If they keep what was Legends size figures in Deluxe, then it leaves the rest of the space in Core class to continue the Op/Megs/Starscream/Soundwave line. Unless they throw in a curveball again like the Micromasters were. But no, they won't remove an entire price point. Just a question of what's in it.

It does seem like this price point has 'returned' this year, as the Kingdom ones are actually availablr in normal shops like Smyths and Entertainer. Whereas nobody seemed to carry the Micromasters of Siege & Earthrise.

Long ago, when most of G1 was done and before they started in on their seemingly endless loop of 84-86 do-overs i proposed to no one important that Generations starts over, downsizing everything one class level. This was before deluxes had reached $20 and voyagers $30
The $10 pricepoint (legend/core) for the smaller bots like Bumblebee, and the insecticons.
A $15 pricepoint introduced and made the new backbone, as the standard. Prowl, Wheeljack and the likes. This would be sizewise the equivalent to the RotF scout class.
Deluxes raised to $20, and serve for the larger bots like Optimus
A $30 pricepoint (voyagers) for the really big guys like Scorponok and Fort Max
And the $40 (leader) pricepoint would be used much the way Commander Class has been currently. Relatively rare, and reserved for giants or dudes with super modes.
I think the club board may still have been a thing. I remember it wasn't a terribly popular idea, but shortly after the 3P market switched from classics scale, to "legends scale" which is largely exactly what I'd suggested, and significantly more expensive than if Hasbro had done this.

Yeah, but there's also that card that shows Megatron as a Gladiator, and a Decepticon Ark - I doubt that any of these ideas will show up in either the toyline or the show.

Hmm. Dinomus as in Rodimus or Optimus?
But then he has the Unicron reformating background.
New name for Dinobot 2?

Surprised T-Wrecks is in Kingdom packaging. I had assumed it would be in Selects.

That was how it was initially reported - I'm half way through moving the leaked posts over.
I think the feeling was that Selects availability is online retailers & comic shops and giving them as exclusives elsewhere (Redwing) might have been a mistake so future exclusive are all in the mainline, albeit with sub branding at times (like Target's Decepticons last year and Amazon's Battle Across Time this year)

I am so confused. If exclusives are now the main line how can they be exclusives?

They are Kingdom toys and have Kingdom numbering but are still exclusives. Just like they've been last few years.

But...but...but...
If something is an Exclusive then surely it can't be considered as part of the Main Line?

But...but...but... If something is an Exclusive then surely it can't be considered as part of the Main Line? -Ralph For as long as exclusives have been a thing, they have shared their branding with the mainline. This is not a new thing. The omnibots were released under the "The Transformers" banner, while being mail away exclusives. Botcon and TFSS 2016 Predacus, Wreckage, and Thunder Mayhem were released under the Combiner Wars branding. The Target exclusive Rainmakers are Siege. Target's Thrust and the Thundercracker/Skywarp set are marketed as Earthrise.

Looks good, and I prefer the proportions on this to T30 (though I've never owned that one either).
Budget tight this year though, so doubt I'll be picking one up. Somewhere down the maybe list...

Kingdom has been hit or miss for me, because I have no real interest in Fosilisers or even Beast Wars. I find my interest is tailing in general, too. Artfire I can justify buying because I've not bought much else, and he's a mad G1 repaint. SS86 and the Dinobot Road and that's about it.
The completionist in me is only interested in the G1 I don't have updates of now, like the Autobot Targetmasters (and we have Artfire and Stepper before Sureshot and Pointblank, madness!). I'm not buying more Primes or Starscreams. I'm done.
