Blimey he looks ten times better than Cheetor. Think this one does need picking up.

Huzzah! I snagged T-Wrecks through the target app! Now I need to secure Roadrage, Ravage, and the Worlds Collide four pack, and all my stressors will be done.

World's Collide is the only one currently in play.
Road Rage hasn't been seen anywhere and I think Ravage has only had a release somewhere in the far east

I know, but they're coming, and nothing but uncertainty surrounding either of them.
I don't think Ravage will be a 1 and Done deal, because not having a general release (or at least a more accessible one like Selects) makes zero sense. I truly believe with that much remolding and being that in demand of a toy (Jaguar X9 is basically the holy grail of every BW collector), that it's the packaging, and bundled with G1 Ravage is what's being sold as the exclusive.
But I also have no way to prove this, nor any sort of actual evidence to support this outside of the fact it would make zero sense for this to be a 1 and Done.
And Road Rage being a Target Red Card exclusive, like T-Wrecks, just has all the anxiety that comes with a normal Target exclusive, compounded with all the trouble and uncertainty of it being temporarily or permanently locked behind a store credit card. Add to that, today was my first trip to my one and only Target in over a month, with no idea when I'll be able to go next.
I genuinely hate this. I wish one of these three (counting the bee set) were Redwing from ER Starscream instead. I could let that go.
Toy Blackarachnia, Road Rage, T-Wrecks, and actual BW Ravage. I can't think of many characters that are worse to choose to taunt me with.

Oh I do like that Tigatron. I'm certainly going to have to pick one up, if only to go with Airazor. And because of completeness.
The only problem, really, is that it shows that Ravage really should have been done from the Tigatron mold - he's meant to be a jaguar, and they're not as slim as cheetahs are - he just needs a little more heft. Not that I won't be getting him, of course. Because how could I not?

Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/citranite/status/1423845431058976771Looks like a new beast head, but not certain. Too hard to see. I like the mutant head, and that is absolutely the way Mainframe would have gone if they used/created him. But I wish they made it swappable with a regular one, because I just associate him with a regular head more. (For that matter, swappable extra heads would be way more appreciated by me than blast effects or "energy rods" ala origin bumblebee)

Well that's Shadow Panther and Tigatron leaked ahead of next Friday. A couple more I'm sure will be leaked by Wednesday, and then that'll be Friday's content done.

Not that I won't be getting him, of course. Because how could I not? I don't think Jaguars or leopards are as tall as cheetahs. I think they're bigger in that they're more muscular, and heavier. (And that they can roar. Cheetahs can't roar, and thus aren't true big cats) Granted I've never seen an actual cheetah and tiger together, but that seems close enough to the difference between a cheetah and lion. Not that Ravage is an actual jaguar, or trying to be one, but a retool of Cheetor is a better play. He also wasn't as big as Primal in the show, and Tigatron here is.

That's fair - and yes, jaguars are nowhere near as big as tigers - the mold would've just fit my view of how a beast mode Ravage should look like. But that's entirely a product of my brain, so not really something the designers could be held to. And you're right, he does need to be shorter than Primal, so... I'll let it pass. Not that it would've mattered if I hadn't, of course.

Plus Waspinator (upthread - tmukhub.proboards.com/post/454449/thread for example) An Hasbro themselves have stuck up the art for all five wave 4 toys - those 3 + Slammer & Pipes - so we consider them in play as it were tmukhub.proboards.com/post/452604/thread

Isn't the beast head the same as Ravage? I like the mutant head, and that is absolutely the way Mainframe would have gone if they used/created him. But I wish they made it swappable with a regular one, because I just associate him with a regular head more. This is an odd one, as the normal head is the one that's ALWAYS been shown with Shadow Panther. I can't recall ever seeing Shadow Panther with the Mutant Head before now. EDIT: as I said upthread when the art was revealed Shadow Panther: Oh Dear they've used the Mutant Mask. Shadow Panther has been normal Cheetor heads in every picture I've seen. I am worried they'll do the same thing with Golden Disc Tigatron, which is how he's pictured on the card art. That and go cream yellow instead of unreleased oramge

Isn't the beast head the same as Ravage? It could well be, looking at the pictures side-by-side. Which also helps to appreciate just how much remoulding they've done to make the chest different. To be fair, it's probably just a couple of solid parts that does away with the need to swap over the heads when transforming, but given that tooling's unlikely to be reused it's a little less surprising that they reused the heads between Shadow Panther and Ravage.

No new head. Have to say it looks better as a straight repaint than I thought. Looks more like a black cougar (which doesn't exist) than a black jaguar or leopard, though. On a completely unrelated side note, Ravage to me does not represent a real animal. So an interesting way to distinguish him from SP, would have been to have given SP a realistic melanistic deco, rather than jet black. Even if it's not accurate to the original toy.

I got my T-Wrecks today!
And against my better judgement, I decided to transform him, and made a discovery.
This was way better. It's not intuitive at all and it's panel hell, but the problems I had with Megatron didn't exist. Which leads me to believe: 1) The clip tolerances that caused me to nearly break it, and tear my skin open were fixed, or 2) I have a bad Megatron.
Megatron was a nightmare to transform in either direction. But while T-Wrecks isn't fun, he's not nearly as awful.

So does this transform backwards like the old toy? Looks like the same as Huffer to me.

The cab is Pipes way round in the first picture, but Huffer-wise in the others.
I think.

The cab is Pipes way round in the first picture, but Huffer-wise in the others. I think. Yes. That's what has confused me. Is there a flap that comes down from inside the hood to cover the gap? Or does it rotate?

I would guess at rotation, from the looks of him.
