Anyone manage a preorder for Blaster then? Pulse now have him as OOS, but I got one in at Star before they went the same way. FP & Zavvi still allowing preorders.

I have one in with Pulse. If Blaster is also in Legacy wave 1 he should be plentiful soon enough. I can see stores ordering less of him in the Kingdom packaging.

Annoyingly there is very little stock of Blaster in the Eastern kingdoms. The shops I’ve been in to only got enough to fulfil their preorders - nothing left for general retail. Oh well. Patience. It will, indeed, be plentiful soon. And then it will be mine. (Well, the Conjunx’s.)

Even if he has the wrong head, that Blaster is looking nicer with every picture. Might be hard to resist!

The new (more correct) sizes aren't as funny as "Prime Wars" weird and terribly wrong scaling. Titan Fort Max telling Leader Blaster to beat up Voyager Grimlock is just hilarious.
Although Titan Fort Max telling Voyager Blaster to beat up Leader Grimlock isn't without it's own absurdity.

I'm mostly dreading discovering where it is that Rewind's going to be made available, and the lengths I'll have to go to to acquire it for the Conjunx - because rather than the mainline it'll doubtless be in a Buzzworthy Bumblebee four-pack at some point in 2023, I'm sure...

With Blaster coming out in Legacy, they ought to do an Netflix Laserbeak/Ravage repaint of Autobot Stripes vs Decepticon Buzzsaw in the legacy core class.
I mean before there was no autobot that could use tapes, and we know Hasbro is generally against making up new characters, which hurts the chances of a new decepticon repaint from Ravage, which all but kills the possibility of a Buzzsaw.

Got mine today. It's about the same as the other weaponizers and modulators. No better, no worse. So phil will lose his shit over it if he hasn't gotten his five already. However, if like me, the other weaponizers have failed to move you, this one will, too.
I would have preferred another fossilizer. The cancelled smilodon, or a stegosaur or plesiosaur.

He is indeed just another weaponiser when it comes to it, but he's also the missing piece of Metroplex, which makes him magical in my eyes. Not least because like the original he can form a tower on his bigger chum. He also feels the right size to be a patrol tank to go with Metroplex's city mode.
To me he is the archetypal Windsor Davies sergeant major who keeps everything ship-shape in Autobot City for Ultra Magnus.

Slammer: I'm a bit disappointed TBH. Some of the 5mm peg tolerances are on the loose side and the turret desperately needs something to hold the forearms together - a 5mm peg through both holes would be favourite and useful elsewhere.
TF genuinely had me stumped for a bit, not helped by the turret repeatedly falling to bits when I moved it, and I had to resort to the instructions

If you recoloured Pipes guns, I reckon they'd work well with Rotorstorm.

You know, it's not a small part of me that kinda wishes Rumble will get a do-over that's more like Eject.
I also hope that Eject gets a solid color release (that's not sold with an otherwise identical Blaster)

I got Blaster today, and he's a really mixed bag. Great robot mode.
I'm assuming he has a decent boombox mode, but I can't get him there. I spent nearly 30 minutes trying to get one leg to go into place, before I pulled the other one (which snapped fairly easily into place) apart to see what I'm doing wrong. Then I couldn't get the other one back in place.
I don't know if something's wrong with mine (Tyrannocon Rex and T-Wrecks are way easier than Kingdom Megatron), or if this is a widespread issue. But if you never transform your transformers, he's the perfect Blaster.
Eject is almost perfect. He would be perfect if he weren't translucent.

So I gave it another go, and got it transformed. It's just an unnecessarily difficult design that takes effort to make sure everything lines up right.
